My first impression of psychiatrists in the 1970s was they they were ignorant and dangerous, now in 2021, After 40 years as a service user, and 7 years as a patient campaigner, my view is that they are arrogant, corrupt, ignorant and dangerous.

I don't think that I am doing "whataboutery". I am making sure that we take the plank out of our own eyes before judging others.
I am not a fan of broad strokes about people who are judged to be "anti-science", "pro-science", "anti-psychiatry" and fail to see more as they are often inaccurate.
Keep in mind that broad strokes don't leave many people behind as often highlighted by the Chapman University Survey.
Also, don't misunderstand my intent. I am squarely in the science team.

Since raising legitimate concerns as a member of HSIB I've been excluded from participating in all NHS groups and conferences.

He skipped school, withdrew £200, bought a one-way ticket to London, and disappeared. Nobody has seen him since.
On September 14, 2007, 14-year-old Andrew Gosden left his family home in Doncaster, England, and appeared to be heading to school as usual.
Andrew was a bright teenager with an excellent school attendance record. His family had no reason to suspect that anything was wrong.
But that morning, he never arrived at school.
Instead, he waited until his family had left home, returned to the house, changed out of his school uniform and put on a black Slipknot T-shirt, black jeans and Vans trainers. He also took his PlayStation Portable.
Then he walked to the railway station.
He bought a one-way ticket to London
On his way to the station, Andrew withdrew £200 from his bank account, almost emptying it.
He bought a one-way ticket to London King's Cross. The ticket seller reportedly offered him a return ticket for less than £1 extra, but Andrew declined.
At approximately 9:36 a.m., he boarded a train to London.
He travelled alone, carrying his belongings and playing on his handheld game console during the journey.
The train arrived at King's Cross at around 11:20 a.m. CCTV footage captured Andrew leaving the station about five minutes later.
It was the last confirmed sighting of him.
He was just 14 years old, alone in London, and his family had no idea where he was.
His family discovered he was missing
That evening, Andrew's family expected him to return home from school. When he did not appear, they began searching for him.
They discovered that he had not attended school and eventually learned that he had withdrawn money and travelled to London.
His father, Kevin Gosden, and the rest of the family were desperate for answers.
Andrew had not told them about the trip. He had not arranged a known place to stay, and there was no confirmed evidence that he had planned to meet anyone.
Why had he travelled to London? Did he intend to return home that evening? Had he arranged to meet somebody?
Nobody knew.
The trail went cold
Police investigated possible sightings and followed numerous leads, but none established what happened after Andrew left King's Cross station.
His family continued appealing for information, and missing-person organisations helped keep his case in the public eye.
Andrew had light brown hair, brown eyes and wore strong prescription glasses. He was also deaf in his left ear and had a distinctive double ridge on his right ear. Investigators later released age-progressed images showing how he might look as an adult.
Years passed without a confirmed sighting.
Two men were arrested
In December 2021, police arrested two men on suspicion of offences including kidnapping as part of the investigation into Andrew's disappearance.
The arrests renewed hopes that the case might finally be solved.
However, the men were later released from the investigation. By September 2023, police had confirmed that they had been eliminated from the inquiry.
The arrests produced no answers about Andrew's whereabouts.
What happened to Andrew Gosden?
More than 19 years have passed since Andrew disappeared. He would now be in his thirties.
Investigators know that he left Doncaster, withdrew money, bought a one-way ticket to London and arrived at King's Cross. What happened after he walked out of the station remains unknown.
There is no confirmed evidence establishing whether Andrew was abducted, harmed by someone he met, or deliberately disappeared.
His family has spent years searching for answers, without knowing whether he is alive or what happened to him.
A 14-year-old boy travelled to London alone. A camera recorded him leaving the station. Then every confirmed trace of him disappeared.
Someone may know what happened that day. Even a small piece of information could help investigators understand where Andrew went.
Nearly two decades later, his family is still waiting for answers.

This is a horrific account of harm caused by UK NHS "mental health" system. I am so pleased this lady escaped from it. She is a warrior
"During my four years of psychiatric misdiagnosis, doctors filled me with drugs that made me dribble and twitch.
"The only way I was able to leave the NHS mental health system was to literally escape and run away to another country."

New relevance now with the Lindsay Clancy trial.

One of the most disgusting things I’ve ever heard.
His son raped a 13-year-old girl in Rotherham, England.
He says there’s nothing wrong with it. And that it was not rape because "she wasn't a virgin or new to sex.”
Evil culture and society.

If you have blocked a lot of accounts, that could partly explain your lack of reach.
The system wont push your posts if they get little attention. And negative attention is good enough for the x algorithm.
Clearly, the war needs ending.
SSRIs are a class of drugs that I wish I had avoided like the plague. Numbed emotions are not compatible with a normal, healthy life. All that rubbish about rebalancing chemicals was simply a marketing strategy to sell drugs

“No one is prescribing antidepressants just because someone went through a breakup, lost a job, or lost someone close.”
I can say with confidence that this is categorically untrue across a range of different countries.
Not only that, it is common practice to be described SSRIs without any diagnosis after a 5 min appointment.
People have always gone through hard times. Severe depression has been around for a long time too. What is different now is that we can better tell when ordinary sadness has turned into something that lasts and gets in the way of daily life.
No one is prescribing antidepressants just because someone went through a breakup, lost a job, or lost someone close. Those are painful situations, and people usually need time, support and sometimes counselling. Major depression looks different. The low mood or loss of interest sticks around, sleep and appetite change, energy drops, thinking gets harder, and the person struggles to manage ordinary tasks. The risk of suicide also goes up.
Trials with large numbers of people show antidepressants work better than placebo for moderate to severe depression. The improvement is not the same for everyone, and some people don’t respond, but quite a few do when the medicine is chosen carefully and reviewed. Therapy helps as well, and many patients do best with both.
Grief and ordinary sadness need room. Severe depression usually needs treatment. Calling them the same thing leaves a lot of people without useful options.

WHY ISN'T THIS ALL OVER NEWS? Since 2022, we've trained 68,000 Ukrainian troops in Britain. That's an extraordinary number roughly equivalent to our regular army. Various hacks are ongoing too & we get doomsday instructions on emergency rations. What's going on? Are we at war?

Psychiatric drugs are first and foremost psychoactive substances... In that sense, psychiatric drugs belong to the same broad family as alcohol, nicotine, and caffeine – substances that alter how we feel, think, and behave, without correcting any underlying defect.

Justice is coming for the COVID Vaccine Injured... two of the original plaintiffs against Bill Gates, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, and PM Mark Rutte have already died.
The Netherlands Case moves FORWARD as Lawyer Peter Strassen receives a monumental welcome.
Peter Stassen walks out of the District Court of Northern Netherlands after a substantive hearing in the civil case brought by Dutch plaintiffs who say they were injured by COVID-19 injections and policies.
Defendants include Bill Gates, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, former PM Mark Rutte, and the Dutch State. The plaintiffs are seeking personal liability for what they call coordinated deception and coercion.
Outside, Stassen and expert witnesses (including Sasha Latypova) addressed supporters and laid out their core claim: the official COVID narrative is false, and the court must decide which side it stands on.
The case has already survived jurisdiction challenges and is now being heard on the merits. Two of the original seven plaintiffs have since died.
