The Curious Case of China's Dangerous Ability to Manufacture Things at Scale
China's Greatest Crime: Making Stuff People Want
The West has discovered a shocking new law of economics:
If China produces something successfully, it's overcapacity.
Let's review the official terminology.
•Britain flooding the world with textiles in the 19th century = Comparative Advantage™
•America dominating global manufacturing after WWII = Industrial Leadership™
•Japan exporting millions of cars = Economic Miracle™
•South Korea conquering shipbuilding = National Competitiveness™
China exporting EVs, batteries, solar panels and industrial equipment?
Overcapacity.
It's a fascinating scientific phenomenon. The exact same activity changes its name depending on who is doing it.
Imagine if Olympic commentary worked this way:
Michael Phelps wins eight gold medals.
Headline:
"Remarkable swimming competitiveness."
Chinese swimmer wins eight gold medals.
Headline:
"Concerning overcapacity in gold medal winners. Are they doping?"
Calls grow for World Anti-Doping Agency to specifically investigate Chinese swimmers.
The funniest thing about the argument is that it can't decide whether China is a communist command economy or a capitalist free-for-all.
When Chinese firms succeed:
"Beijing controls everything!"
When Beijing tries to slow down local investment:
"Look, Beijing can't control anything!"
Pick a lane.
According to the latest theory, Xi Jinping wakes up every morning and personally approves every exported toaster.
"Comrades, after careful consultation with Marx, Engels, and the Central Committee, I have authorized the production of 37 additional air fryers."
Meanwhile, nobody asks the forbidden question:
If China has overcapacity, does somebody else have undercapacity?
Perhaps spending three decades shutting factories, outsourcing production, neglecting infrastructure, and convincing an entire generation that making PowerPoint slides is more important than making machine tools was not the master plan everyone imagined.
But that's a dangerous line of inquiry.
Much safer to blame the country that still manufactures things.
Notice how nobody complains about overcapacity in consulting.
Nobody says:
"The United States has produced 400,000 surplus management consultants and over 1,000,000 hedge fund managers"
"Europe suffers from excess capacity in regulatory paperwork."
"There are too many think tank reports and not enough washing machines."
No, only physical products count.
The truly remarkable achievement of modern economics is turning consumer preference into evidence of wrongdoing.
People buy Chinese EVs?
Suspicious.
People buy Chinese solar panels?
Very suspicious.
People buy Chinese batteries?
Extremely suspicious.
At no point does anyone consider the radical possibility that customers might simply like the products.
In the end, "overcapacity" increasingly sounds less like an economic diagnosis and more like emotional damage.
For decades economists taught:
Competition is good.
China took notes.
Now the lesson has been updated:
Competition is good, unless you're winning.
Coming soon to a newspaper near you:
•China has too many engineers.
•China has too many factories.
•China has too much electricity.
•China has too much high-speed rail.
•China has too many products people keep insisting on buying.
The horror.
Not since the invention of affordable consumer goods has humanity faced such a grave threat.

His response: “I have affiliates with Mossad, yes.”
WTF?
Then they claim he was supposed to be on one of the planes that struck the World Trade Center, but claims he was so hungover that he missed the flight.
Not sure about you all, but I don’t believe in coincidences to that extreme.

Quick breakdown since upgrading from my diesel 2009 ford ranger to the EV Misso as a work truck (still waiting for the canopy from Korea though)
My old Ranger used to use $15/100km so at $3/L that’s $45 per 100km
My Musso uses 23kwh per 100km and at home charging I pay 30c/kwh so roughly $7/100km
So it costs 1/7th of the Ranger to run, I also get free servicing for 3 years (even though there’s bugger all to actually service)
AND fir long term use there’s less than 1/5th of the Rangers moving parts across the car.
It’s literally better in every way and this is just the first model just wait 5 years.
Anyone that doesn’t thing EV’s are the future doesn’t understand the engineering or maths behind them

🚨 They erased the Nazi records of war criminals. Then they sent them to Antarctica.
1938: Hitler sends a secret expedition to Antarctica. Germany claims a territory bigger than France and names it New Swabia.
1945: The war ends. Under Operation Paperclip, the US brings in over 1,600 German scientists and quietly scrubs their Nazi files, including men who had used slave labor.
1946: Less than 18 months later, the US Navy launches Operation Highjump. 4,700 men. 13 ships. An aircraft carrier. Destination: Antarctica.
1947: The operation on the ice ends after about 8 weeks. Right after, Admiral Byrd warns in an interview that America must prepare for aircraft flying from pole to pole at incredible speeds.
1959: The US and USSR, at the height of the Cold War, sign a treaty banning all military activity on the continent.
2013: The CIA releases a book from its files about cyclical pole shifts that wipe out civilizations. Parts are still withheld.
Ask yourself:
Why did the Nazis go there first?
Why would two superpowers agree on nothing except this?
What did the Paperclip men know about the Geophysical Event that you still don’t?
The most guarded secret on Earth isn’t a weapon. It’s what lies under the ice: the ruins of a civilization that already lived through the last reset.

Witkoff tried to convince Budanov of how rich he could be if he sold out his country by allowing Russian pipelines to again flow through Ukraine. Budanov ended the meeting.
Content of Tense Conversation Between Budanov and Trump's Team Revealed
Negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation and Donald Trump's special envoys in Miami, as reported by Le Monde, escalated into a conflict. According to the publication, during a three-hour meeting at the Shell Bay golf club, Steve Witkoff "with irritation" demanded that Kyrylo Budanov, head of Zelenskyy's office, cease strikes on Russian oil refineries.
Budanov, per Le Monde's information, "barely contained his anger" and felt that he was being "treated like a child, trying to teach him how to make money." The Americans presented an ambitious plan for postwar "regional prosperity," which envisioned resuming the transit of Russian oil and gas to Europe through Ukraine, with dividends paid to Kyiv.
Budanov was outraged that such a deal would tie Ukraine to Moscow, after which the negotiations broke off. When the meeting resumed, the Americans proposed accepting a deal for supplies of Russian diesel to the United States.
The publication's sources noted that they had never seen Ukrainians "so upset and alarmed." Zelenskyy's entourage described the situation as "hopeless," since Trump's envoys "think only about business."

The RW #MSM are shrieking.
FOUR. POINT. THREE. PERCENT.
"RBA set to act and increase interest rates again!"
But NOWHERE in all this squealing do we see a comparison with the Morrison/Frydenberg government, which, incidentally, benefited from almost $7 BILLION* in RBA dividends during its final term.
LABOR HAS RECEIVED NOTHING SINCE TAKING OFFICE IN 2022.
Read that again.
FRYDENBERG'S never-back-in-black budgets benefited from BILLIONS in dividends from the RBA.
Albanese and Chalmers? ZERO.
WHY, you may ask?
Well, here's something worth examining.
During COVID, the RBA purchased a staggering $281 BILLION in Commonwealth and state government bonds, substantially REDUCING government borrowing costs.
And don't take my word for it.
The RBA's own September 2022 review states:
"The decline in government bond yields as a result of the BPP purchases in the secondary market led to government debt being issued at a lower (fixed) cost than otherwise."
It also acknowledges that the benefits to LNP Morrison/Frydenberg government finances were MATERIAL.
And what happened to the RBA's balance sheet after those purchases?
A WHOPPING $36.7 BILLION ACCOUNTING LOSS IN 2021–22.
The financial consequences of the bond purchases remained on the RBA's books, while the Morrison/Frydenberg government had benefited from lower borrowing costs. That $36.7 billion was effectively shielded from the Frydenberg financial folly.
And here's the REALLY interesting bit.
The RBA itself acknowledges that the net cost of its Bond Purchase Program would reduce the dividends paid to the government.
Which brings us right back to those numbers.
MORRISON/FRYDENBERG: ALMOST $7 BILLION. (No Surpluses - just coffee mugs)
ALBANESE/CHALMERS: ZERO. (2 Surpluses)
And the RBA has subsequently increased interest rates repeatedly, placing enormous additional financial pressure on Australian households.
⛐𖧀 ▓ Funny how that little financial history rarely makes it into the screaming headlines.
Video below. THE MEDIA are gaslighting the Australian public.
Footnote: The exact figure for RBA dividends paid to the Commonwealth between the May 2019 and May 2022 federal elections was $6.923 billion (A$6,923,000,000), comprising payments of $1.685 billion, $2.567 billion and $2.671 billion. Source: RBA Annual Reports 2021 and 2022.

Many people might not know this, but what Iran is experiencing these days is quite similar to what Iran went through in the 80s!
We were dealing with internal conflict and armed groups that beheaded people simply for having different opinions (MEK). At the same time, Saddam was at our borders, and we were fighting an eight-year war…
Even during that period, Iran’s president was impeached (Banisadr)
And when I mention Saddam, remember that he wasn’t fighting Iran alone. He had the backing of Western countries. The US and several Western countries supported Iraq during the war; even Germany supplied Saddam with chemical weapons that were used against Iranians. People who lived through that era are still suffering from the consequences ( Search about, Operation Kheibar, Battle of the Majnoon Islands, and Operation Badr)
We’ve endured war, internal conflict, and foreign interference, and we still survived
So when you want to analyze the Iranians never underestimate their sense of resilience and their ability to fight back

CPI inflation rose to 4.3%. Transport +8.7% (fuel +23.6%)
Not government spending: public demand added 0.1% to growth.
It’s Trump’s war: oil US$110, petrol $2.40, diesel $2.81.
The RBA’s fix? Higher rates for mortgage holders.
Monetary policy is broken.

RBA agitprop.
Inflation too high. Unemployment too low. House price falls are as expected.
This is the theme of recent high profile public comments from the RBA, with the latest inflation data likely to reinforce its mantra about the need for yet higher interest rates.
Petrol, electricity & tobacco were influential in the latest inflation rate.
A sensible central bank would use its public comments to sooth the community that the inflation shock will pass with current monetary policy settings as these current drivers wash out of the data in the next couple of quarters.
