Welcome to Feargal’s Fridays on @lbc where @NickFerrariLBC and I team up to expose the shocking state of England’s poisoned rivers.
“We’re going to do the Environment Agency’s job for it."
@NickFerrariLBC has challenged @Feargal_Sharkey to test the toxicity of England’s rivers.
First up is the River Avon in Bristol…

Oh, come on @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer , stop telling us what you won’t do, stop telling us what you totally reject, and tell us what you WILL do. #channel4news
#ITVdebate - come on @Keir_Starmer - you need to say something other than criticise the past. You’re coming across as clueless and without a plan or answers.
Come on @HMRCcustomers - 44 minutes on hold. Exactly how important does it seem that my call is to you?? @HMRCgovuk - exhausted your website options already.
BrassStats.com - original brass band rankings, contest results brassstats.com/ - could you please change our name in the rankings to "Sovereign Brass" - out connection with SPAL Automotive has ceased. Much appreciated :-)
Hi @BritishGas - elderly Mom has signed up for the cheap Sunday electricity, got a smart meter but seems her registration has been ignored. Missing out few a lot of weekends now. Can you help please.
How good was @sixuktour today at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre? Absolutely amazing - from someone who only went to take my daughter to downloading the album for the car. Loved it.

But Gary you are not ‘rural people’ are you ? The vast majority of people , including people who live in rural locations , are sick of your sadistic illegal killing of wildlife . Stop lying - you don’t represent ‘the countryside’ you are diminishing minority of savages which the world wants to leave behind . Go away ! @HuntSabs @LeagueACS @ProtectTheWild_ @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer
It is disappointing that a charity would turn down donations raised by the rural community taking part in an entirely lawful activity. We sincerely hope RNLI reconsider their position and work with rural people, rather than alienating them like this ⬇️bit.ly/48zrC5P
Went to see #BrassedOff at @aberystwytharts today with my daughter. We were both blubbing well before the end, even though we knew what happens. Some brilliant playing and amazing acting - and the amazing actors WERE the brilliant players. So impressed with the whole production.
Well I never, why on earth was I wearing claret and blue!!

Outrageous
• MPs’ Menu in Parliament: “Pressed duck leg and caper terrine with celeriac & mustard remoulade
& sour dough toast” — Cost: £4.52 (subsidised by you).
• NHS Staff Menu in Hospital: “Macaroni Cheese” — Cost: £7.25 (paid by NHS nurses).
#FIFAWorldCup #TeamUSA need #tedlasso as the coach - unstoppable combination at the next World Cup. And get #coachbeard at the press conferences.
We absolutely loved your show in Oakengates tonight @chrismccausland - the best we’ve seen there - and we go to lots as, like you say, it’s cheaper than heating the house. Come back soon.

I love my country so I wanted @RishiSunak to do better but his appointment of @SuellaBraverman as Home Sec shows that he, too, is prisoner of the Tory far right.
Enough already. We need Proportional Representation so that the centre - not the extremes - holds power.
I wish @LibDems and @UKLabour would stop this incessant call for a #GeneralElection2022. It’s not going to happen, they know it’s not going to happen, and the public are now getting bored. With everything that’s happening is that really your only response?

Fair play to Boris for giving us a list of Tory MPs who genuinely thought he hadn’t done enough damage last time, though. Possibly his one act of public service
