🗣️ Why Every Millisecond Matters in Robotics A robot can have a well-trained model and still perform poorly because of something as simple as inference latency. In its latest research, @PrismaXai discovered a hidden Python buffering issue that was adding hundreds of milliseconds to robot rollouts. After optimizing the inference pipeline, the team reduced latency from over 230 ms to just 87 ms, nearly 3x faster. But the most interesting part wasn't the benchmark itself. Lower latency allowed the robot to reproduce behaviors seen in its training data, including fast approaches followed by pauses and small corrections before grasping an object. This shows how much goes into building reliable Physical AI. Training data, hardware, model architecture and real-time execution all need to work together. PrismaX is exploring these challenges from multiple sides, from collecting and validating robotics data to training and evaluating models in real-world conditions. Better robotics isn't just about teaching models what to do. It's also about making sure they can do it at the right time. Read more below 👇
A Python pipe buffer was holding camera frames until 64 KB had piled up. That quietly added hundreds of milliseconds to our π0.5 rollouts. New from @castorhat: how we found it, and what changed on the robot once it was gone.

🗣️ The First 7 Days Can Decide Everything Getting someone to join your community is only half the job. The real challenge starts after they click "Join". I found @DlicomApp latest article interesting because it breaks down something many community owners overlook: the first seven days can determine whether a new member becomes an active part of the community or quietly disappears. A simple welcome message isn't enough. Give newcomers one small action to take, reply to their first post while they're still excited, ask questions instead of just saying hello, and create regular activities that give people a reason to return. One detail that stood out to me was Dlicom's own data: team replies ending with a question received responses 50% of the time, compared to just 26% for replies without one. Sometimes, a small change in how you communicate makes a real difference. I think community growth shouldn't be measured only by how many people join, but by how many actually stay, participate and build connections. The first week is your chance to turn a new member into a regular.

🎙️ PrismaX Office Hours #11 Recap PrismaX Office Hours on October 30, hosted by @vivianrobotics, focused on how robotics data translates into real-world performance. One of the most interesting points was how operator behavior carries over into trained models. Small details like approaching an object, pausing or making corrections can influence how a robot performs. @PrismaXai is testing this through Pi 0.5, using its open-source YAMulator simulator and real hardware to measure actual results. A few key takeaways: • Every episode goes through Verified Quality, where task completion, movement smoothness and instruction following are evaluated • Successful attempts form the core of training datasets, while failed ones help identify where operators struggle • Beginners can start with teleoperation and gradually move into validation as their tier allows • The ecosystem offers several ways to contribute, including teleoperation, validation, the Regional Ambassador Program and custom data collection • The validator leaderboard rotates monthly, putting the focus on consistent work rather than one-time achievements One important clarification: Teleoperation Points and Validation Points will remain separate systems. The team is also working on an updated contributor system, with more details to be announced later. What matters here is the connection between contribution and real results. Collecting robotics data is just the first step. Making that data useful for training better-performing robots is the bigger goal. 🔗 Official Links: Website: prismax.ai Explore the data and request access today: prismax.ai/#plans Explore Verify Quality: app.prismax.ai X: @PrismaXai Discord: discord.gg/prismaxai

📊 Better Robotics Start With Better Data Robots don’t just need more training data. They need data that reflects the conditions they’ll face in the real world. In its latest article on fine-tuning π0.5, @PrismaXai showed how something as simple as camera placement can affect performance. In their experiments, the robot could still pick up an object, while successfully placing it into a container became much harder when the camera position changed. That’s a good reminder that successful demonstrations are only part of the picture. Hardware setup, camera specifications, data collection, and evaluation all influence what a model can learn. This is where PrismaX’s broader work with robotics data becomes interesting. Through Robotics Data and the Verify Quality program, PrismaX is working on both access to robot demonstrations and the evaluation of their quality. Better Physical AI isn’t just about collecting more episodes. It’s about understanding the data behind every action. Read more below 👇

🗣️ Your Community Might Be Worth More Than You Think One thing that stood out to me in Dlicom’s latest article is that you don’t need thousands of followers to start earning from a community. Sometimes, a few dozen people who genuinely care about what you share are enough. Think about the work community owners already do: answering questions, welcoming newcomers, keeping conversations alive and giving people a reason to return. That takes time and effort, yet many still do it for free. What I find interesting is how simple the math can be. Just 40 members paying $29 a month could generate $1,160 in monthly revenue before platform fees. You don’t always need a massive audience. You need people who see value in being part of what you’ve built. @DlicomApp is also exploring this idea through direct creator-to-creator and fan-to-creator tips. Members can support creators directly from their wallets, without making monetization feel complicated. Maybe the real question isn't whether your community is big enough to monetize, but whether you're giving people something worth supporting. 🗣️ Robotics Is Moving Beyond Impressive Demos IROS 2026 showed how quickly robotics is evolving, and one thing stood out: better robots aren’t always the ones with more hardware. While nearly 20 companies showcased dexterous hands, Boston Dynamics took a different approach with Atlas. Its new hand has 4 fingers and 13 degrees of freedom, focusing on practical tasks instead of simply copying human anatomy. But hardware was only part of the story. Data collection, tactile sensing, and real-world performance became major themes. Companies are realizing that building a capable robot is one thing, but making it perform reliably in environments it has never seen is a completely different challenge. That’s what made @PrismaXai live demo particularly interesting. Its model picked and sorted fruit using a different setup than the one it was trained on, running in a busy convention hall without prior adaptation. The bigger picture? Robotics is moving beyond impressive demos toward systems that actually work outside controlled environments. Read more below to explore PrismaX’s full IROS 2026 recap and the key takeaways from the conference👇

🗣️ Your Contribution to Dlicom Can Start in More Ways Than You Think One thing I like about @DlicomApp is that you don’t have to be a developer, a big creator, or an experienced community member to get involved. There are different ways to contribute, and the new Community Guidelines make that much clearer. You can take the Community Path by joining conversations, helping newcomers, participating in events, and making the community a better place. If you enjoy creating content, the Creator Path is about sharing your own perspective, posting updates, and bringing something valuable to the ecosystem. And if you’re more into art, games, memes, or other creative ideas, the Creativity Path gives you room to experiment. You can even combine these paths or find your own way. What matters most is not doing everything at once, but showing up consistently and putting real effort into what you do. Quality matters more than quantity, and original ideas are always more valuable than unfinished work created just to stay active. I also like that Dlicom has a system for recognizing contributions. Roles such as Dliever, Dcoded, and DCO reflect the value people bring over time. Good content can get highlighted, and community members can nominate others who make a real impact. For me, this is how a community should grow: everyone has a way to participate, every useful contribution can matter, and progress comes from consistency rather than shortcuts. 👉 If you’re wondering where to start, check out the full guide: dlicom-community-guidelines.…

🦾 Different Doesn't Always Mean Better One thing I find interesting about robot data validation is that being different doesn't automatically make a demonstration better. Imagine reviewing several episodes of the same task. If every robot follows almost exactly the same trajectory, the dataset may lack useful variation. But going to the opposite extreme isn't ideal either. A demonstration that takes a completely unusual approach isn't necessarily more useful for training. @PrismaXai includes diversity as one of its quality criteria, looking at how an episode compares with other demonstrations of the same task. The goal isn't to reward randomness. It's to recognize meaningful variation without losing sight of what the task actually requires. From a validator's perspective, this adds another layer to the review. You're not only looking at one episode in isolation. You're also considering how its execution differs from other attempts. I think this is an important distinction in physical AI. Collecting more demonstrations is one thing. Building a dataset with the right balance of consistency and diversity is another. And that balance starts with understanding what makes each demonstration useful. Explore the data: prismax.ai/#plans Start validating: app.prismax.ai

🎙️ RAIKU TOWNHALL RECAP | 16.10 This Townhall was a little different from usual, with some important news about @raikucom future and a final live stream from @_offmylawn as Head of Community. Here are the key takeaways: Offmylown is stepping back, but not leaving Raiku. He’s moving into an advisory role after accepting a new full-time opportunity in gaming. He’ll still support the team, help with community strategy, and stay involved behind the scenes. Chris from PR is expected to step into a Head of Marketing/PR role. What changes for the community? Weekly livestreams are going on hiatus for now, with future Townhalls potentially happening monthly or every two months. Townhall NFTs will become less frequent, but Gamer and Anti-Slop NFTs will continue to be distributed weekly. Poker games and cross-community events are also staying. Blackline is the main focus. Raiku is now focused on its institutional product, Blackline, so a traditional Mainnet launch may look different from what was originally planned. The team is working on a clearer roadmap, with 2027 looking promising. A few other highlights: • Solana’s Alpenglow upgrade is approaching, targeting around 150ms transaction finality. • Jupiter launched YOLO, offering up to 1,000x leverage. • The discussion also covered the cancelled Solana Accelerate China event and the challenges of incentive-driven farming in crypto communities. One thing that stood out to me was Offmylown’s message about building a genuine community without forcing people into endless quests and engagement farming. Raiku’s community isn't going anywhere, and neither is Offmylown. Just a new chapter ahead 💚 You Can Watch The Full Townhall Recording Below ↓

🗣️ Your Event Wins Can Now Mean More on Dlicom @DlicomApp is introducing a new way to recognize community members who show up and compete in events. Every win can now contribute to your profile and help you earn a new role. There are three levels: Casual for 5 wins, Skilled One for 10, and MVP for 25. Wins from regional or global events count when organizers announce the results in the "game-lounge" channel. I like this because community participation shouldn't disappear once an event ends. Whether you're joining tournaments, supporting community activities, or competing for the top spots, your efforts can now become part of your profile. Everyone starts from zero, so there's a fresh opportunity for all participants. Roles update weekly, and each new level replaces the previous one. 🗣️ A new step for real-time apps on Solana MagicBlock Validator v1.0 is a big step toward making real-time applications on Solana more practical. What I find interesting is how much of the complexity @magicblock is trying to remove for developers. With Ephemeral Rollups, applications can move specific workloads off the base layer for faster execution while keeping access to Solana programs and liquidity. Add optional privacy, automated settlement, and cheaper temporary data, and it becomes easier to build experiences that feel closer to traditional apps without leaving the Solana ecosystem. The improvements behind the scenes matter just as much. Better recovery, more efficient synchronization, and stronger handling of failures give developers a more reliable foundation to build on. There’s still work ahead with replication and decentralization, but v1.0 brings several important pieces together. Now the real test is seeing what developers build with these capabilities. 📚 Learn more about the release: magicblock.xyz/blog/validato…
