The team focused on two goals: improving robot performance under challenging conditions and reducing delays during task execution. ✦ Accuracy Under Different Conditions PrismaX fine-tuned π0.5 using 668 episodes of YAM robot pick-and-place tasks, totaling approximately 10 hours of data. 💡 Lighting: Harsh lighting reduced the success rate of a model trained only on expert data by approximately 50%. Full fine-tuning and LoRA helped maintain performance under the same conditions. 📷 Camera Position: Even after grasping an object, the robot could fail to place it in the container due to an unfavorable camera angle. ✦ Nearly 3x Faster Processing PrismaX reduced processing time per control step from over 230 ms to 87 ms. 🛠️ The team also fixed a Python buffering bug that delayed camera frames by several hundred milliseconds. ✧ PrismaX optimizes the full pipeline from perception to movement.
