this is certainly just me, but i've been hearing a critcal opinion of media that feels like it's "agreeing" with you. movies that have socialist ideology in their narrative being called "not challenging", eg, and, i'm sorry, but that sounds like you are afraid of your own beliefs
ive come to believe that "Taste", and the aesthetic performance that is involved with gaining it, claiming it, and defending it, is an ideological evil at worst, and a complete waste of everyone's time at best, on the scale of "astrology" or pet breeding.
wow can you believe this sharp and adroit film critic's main gig is shilling novelty AI "books" that just say "meow" over and over?
You Can See Everything, while completely unremarkable in every way (it’s reality television), did supply me with an opportunity to lean over to my friend and whisper “this is why I left California” when, two hours into the drably staged, monotone Kabuki of fake autism (actually substance abuse and narcissism, but the most boring varieties of both), the monotone, fake-autistic Nathan Fielder marvels at the monotone, fake-autistic Elizabeth Holmes’ feigned inability to understand a simple joke, something I personally had to endure hundreds of times when dealing with this (exceedingly common) strain of Cali-poisoned “savant” whose entire pathology is that they’re just not very bright. A nice little blip of insight wrested from three hours of ketamine-assisted woolgathering I wish I never got involved with in the first place.

what if incrementalism is the delaying tactic that always blunts the initiative and forestalls the progress of the proletariat just long enough for reaction to adjust to the new tactics, regroup, and annihilate the elements of the working class capable of leadership

"okay, so the tagline is 'grubhub has deals that make you boogie' and the tv commercial has a bunch of grotesque bean mouth dollar store pixar people gyrating their flabby skinny fat bodies around while they shove slop into their gaping putrid mouths"
