Artificial lifeforms are super fascinating to watch. These self-organizing, self-replicating, “lifeforms” emerged from a continuous time cellular automata system called Flow-Lenia. Lenia is a family of CAs generalizing Conway’s Game of Life to continuous space, time and states.

I don't think people always appreciate how earth-shattering the Clearview AI investigation was - it led to so many lawsuits & federal probes in the US, Canada, the UK. The case made clear the case for comprehensive privacy policy. Every major police department was embarrassed lol
