Every day we live in Gaza is a struggle with reality in order to stay alive.💔
I spent long hours thinking before deciding to write these words. It was not easy for me. But I have reached a stage where I have become unable to find a way out of a predicament that I do not know how to overcome.
Israel is tightening its siege on Gaza and has been preventing commercial goods from entering for the tenth consecutive day. Prices here have become beyond our ability and means.
For more than three years, we have been living through conditions that I would not wish anyone to experience, and I have been trying to endure and remain steadfast in the face of a harsh reality that gives me no opportunity to catch my breath. As time has passed, responsibilities have increased and needs have doubled, until providing the simplest necessities of life has become a heavy burden that I carry every day.
At the forefront of my fears stands my little daughter, Ayla. Every day, I try to find a way to protect her from a harsh reality that has no mercy for her weakness or young age. I want her to live her childhood as every child deserves, to obtain her basic needs, and to sleep without illness, fear, and deprivation being part of her days. But I often find myself unable to meet her needs, because the circumstances around me make even the simplest things difficult to obtain.
Alongside my daughter, I carry the responsibility of caring for my elderly parents, who need care, medication, and security. It pains me to be responsible for their safety at a time when I do not even have the ability to provide the minimum level of stability they need.
Exhaustion has reached my depths, anxiety has become a companion that never leaves me, and fear settles in my chest and never departs. Sometimes I feel that the pressure has made breathing itself difficult. Nevertheless, I continue trying despite everything that weighs heavily on my shoulders, because there are lives that depend on me, and because surrender is not an option I can resort to.
We in Gaza do not need the world merely to feel sorrow over our words. We need it to remember that behind these words are real children, destroyed homes, and mothers and fathers trying to remain steadfast despite everything that weighs heavily on their shoulders.
Your donation is not a passing charitable act. Rather, it means providing healthcare for my daughter, Ayla, or buying medication for my parents, or securing some of my family's basic needs. No matter how small your contribution may seem to you, for us it makes a real difference and gives us an opportunity to get through another day without the fear of tomorrow overshadowing everything.

And if you are unable to donate, please do not pass by my story in silence. Share my words, as they may reach someone who can help us at a time when we are in the greatest need of support.
Behind these words is a family trying to cling to what little hope it has left.
Thank you to everyone who read our story and extended a helping hand, and to everyone who contributed to conveying our story to others.❤️

Two women testified that Russell Brand had dragged or attempted to drag them into toilets.
Here he is joking about dragging women into toilet cubicles.

The image of a little girl in Gaza standing in the rain captures a stark, painful contrast: the innocence of childhood set against the harsh reality of life in Gaza. 🍉 The winter rain has transformed the scene into a tableau that blends spontaneous, childlike joy with profound human suffering. Our tattered tents—and everything we own—have been completely submerged today. 🥹💔 Please, speak about us; be our voice to the world. Please share, or leave a comment—even just a dot—to help boost this post. Thank you, from Gaza.

I am in a long line of antizionist Jews who political opponents try to make people hate.
But I wont be quiet, not on criticism of Israel, nor on tackling the extreme wealth and poverty pay that both the Tories and now Labour have overseen in office.
🇬🇧 “Is it now the Labour position that a genocide is not racist?”
Green Party leader Zack Polanski confronted Conservative and Labour politicians at the London Assembly on Thursday after Conservative Susan Hall introduced a motion condemning the Greens’ decision to define Zionism as racism.
Hall called the Green Party’s position “abhorrent” and argued it threatened Jewish Londoners.
Polanski, who is Jewish, accused Hall of weaponizing antisemitism and challenged Labour members over their government’s continued military support for Israel amid the genocide in Gaza.
The Assembly passed Hall’s motion 19–3, with just the three Green members voting against it.

Jack Bayles & Gareth Roy.
The 2 men, who stood there & laughed when Russell Brand sexually assaulted a woman.
Men like this enabled this vile predator.
They will claim they can't remember the event I'm sure. How how could you ever forget something so terrible?

v hmmm

ALT A (now deleted) tweet from Hadley Freeman, posted on May 30 2023, which reads: I'm v glad women's complaints are now taken seriously. But Nick Cohen has apologised and lost his job for things he did when he was - as he says - drinking, so today's story feels more like another "look how backward the UK is compared to the US!!!" from the NYT which is v hmmm original link: https://x.com/HadleyFreeman/status/1663476537528647680 screenshot source: https://x.com/KitKlarenberg/status/1663540231579267073

I remember this and how Russell Brand then said Linda must have been mentally unwell for shouting at him. Couldn’t have been the rampant misogyny, stupid. Well done, as ever Momentum & “the UK left” for always worshipping dodgy men. And a genuine bravo to Linda.

From what I remember, the essay basically emerged out of a quick Facebook post about Brand, under which people (quite a few of them friends of Mark's) were spelling things out explicitly. But he pushed on with it anyway.

There were greater tragedies in Mark Fisher’s life, god knows, but it’s still a significant one that his magnum opus was written in defence of Russell Brand, and explicitly against the people telling him that Brand was a bad guy.

His ex had exposed him + the masseuse had reported him by 2014, wardrobe woman abuse in 2012. His books full of horrendous stories of abuse. Women begging the left to stop platforming him. Corbyn & McCluskey did a poetry book with him in 2023, that's pretty gross.

Yes I remember it well. Berki was on twitter too and then was silenced everywhere. The "harrassment" charge is what accused predators do - they turn the table on their victims. It happen to Aljoshca Quooss last year too, if anyone remembers.
Look at what is happening in Gaza. How long must they live like this? Absolutely despicable. Please donate to @Hammam_ibrahm00 urgently & keep dragging our war criminal govt @andyburnham
Our tents are flooded by the rain, and we haven't been able to sleep all night. Our clothes and food are soaked, and we have lost almost everything we own. We are living in terrible conditions and don't know how to cope with this disaster💔

"Gender Criticalism" has always been a pipeline to the far right - the right are defending Brand so now the GCs do also.
This happens with every major issue - the GCs broadly take the side that the most depraved rightoids take.
