Behold: the Dem frustration with El-Sayed that has been bubbling for months
If you havenât been reading @jewishinsider coverage of the Michigan Senate race, you wouldnât be understanding how we got to this remarkable moment in U.S. politics right now.

I am always amazed at how this âpunditâ manages to have the worst take on every single issue. itâs almost impressive how consistently wrong she is
Haley Stevens isn't dumb.
She knew before she backed Mike Rogers that she was abt to become the Democratic Party's greatest pariah this cycle. And that she'd never resurrect her political career if she did this.
If AES loses, she gets blamed. If he wins, she looks weak.
There is no political upside to what she did.
And yet she chose to do it anyway. Bc clearly she felt it was the right thing to do -- despite all the voices in her ear telling her not to.
Gutsy.

By endorsing Mike Rogers, Haley Stevens is knowingly endorsing a national abortion ban- all because she supports Israel's genocide that much. The depths of her vindictiveness & Islamophobia are appalling
Mike Rogers has consistently supported extreme abortion bans and this radical agenda is out of touch with Michiganders. His position was rejected last year on Election Day and we'll do the same in 2026.

Haley Stevensâ betrayal today shows us itâs not that progressive Democrats, or even democratic socialists, need their own party. Itâs that politicians like Haley Stevens always had more in common with Republicans like Mike Rogers and Donald Trump than with the Democratic base. And now she admits it.
Thatâs why itâs so important to run democratic primaries. Itâs not enough to send Democrats to Washington, we have to send Democrats who are fighting for the things working class voters want!

"For a lot of progressives, Stevens hasnât done enough. No matter how many times she says sheâs supporting El-Sayed, progressives are sure that, in her heart of hearts, she doesnât really mean it. She doesnât truly love El-Sayed. To which I say: Grow up."

Itâs very funny that we all have to act like this is about some high minded battle against âantisemitismâ when itâs the worldâs most obvious last min rat fucking operation by the same fanatical Israel dead-enders who kept Stevensâ otherwise DOA campaign afloat for months on end.
I recommend my friend @HaleyforMI call @AbdulElSayed directly tonight.
I think the two of them should align on the reality that this Rebellion ad has put them both in a very awkward position, and the only way out is for the two of them to work together.
Donât let the dividers win.
