I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.

The great irony of the modern Western far right is that, for all their endless posturing about nation, Christianity, tradition, family values, and all that other sacred nonsense, they are themselves nothing more than the most grotesque, intellectually stunted products of postmodern decadence.
It's all there: Botox, silicone, narcissism, a pathological addiction to attention, and an irresistible urge to turn themselves into public clowns.
They preach tradition while embodying everything they claim to despise.
The ancestors whose legacy they so loudly invoke would be absolutely horrified to see what ridiculous, plastic, attention-starved freak shows their supposed heirs have become.

Not only was Hitler far right, many historians have pointed out that his rise to power largely depended on cooperation from more moderate conservatives and powerful capitalists who shared the Nazi's fear of socialism and hatred of Weimar democracy...

In 1972, a group of Harlem Renaissance cultural icons gathered at Duke Ellington's house.
The afternoon was captured on 16mm film by William Greaves, but the footage remained unedited in a vault for 50 years until David Greaves restored and completed his father's project, releasing the documentary in 2026.
Once Upon a Time in Harlem is a film that every New Yorker should see — and this weekend you can, at no cost.
We partnered with the filmmakers to offer free screenings this Saturday and Sunday at the Lincoln Center, Film Forum, and Magic AMC in Harlem.

The leader of the party of family values doesn't care about child sexual abuse. He's telling you in the clearest way possible. Donald Trump is unbothered by the rape of children. He thinks that it is perfectly okay to make light of that, to attack the victims of it.

“It was like this biblical battle where the Palestinian men … went in front of me to protect … me and my rescuers from being attacked again,” Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine told Jake Tapper.
Levine was kicked, beaten with clubs and robbed by Israeli settlers while covering Friday’s olive harvest in the occupied West Bank, leaving her with multiple broken bones. Speaking after leaving the hospital, she said Israeli soldiers charged Palestinian farmers as settlers advanced alongside them. She said that unlike her, Palestinian victims endure these attacks daily, with absolutely nowhere safe to go.
“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah.
Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah.
Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah.
"The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him.
Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.

I am deeply fascinated by the modern right's insistence that "the elite" is a category that does not actually include the ultra wealthy who dominate society and dictate many of its laws, and is instead made up of socialist teachers, anti-genocide protestors, and "woke" baristas.
