Jon Lovett wants us to pretend that we don’t have eyes or ears and so we will believe the blatant lie that this ad is antisemitic
The ad is anti-Semitic. (Also pretty glib and tasteless, but whatever!) I'm not lying or paid to say this. I don't equate being anti-Israel with being anti-Semitic. but also not saying the word "Jewish" isn't the one weird trick you want it to be.
Only good that can come from you promoting yourself at the expense of Abdul's campaign in the final days of an election where the stakes are so high is that you've created an opportunity for Abdul to denounce the ad and demonstrate his commitment to opposing anti-Semitism on the left and representing Jewish voters in Michigan as a Senator.
There’s nobody I hate more than pro Palestine activists. Some of the most insufferable, obnoxious people on Earth. It does not please me that they were right about Haley Stevens
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has.
On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit.
The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. Full statement here:
I used to be a Haley Stevens fan but it’s not ideal that she’s lying about the content of this ad

This isn't accurate. It told her for HOURS to work with her doctos and it eventually caved to her demands to have it determine her taper.

None of you people have the courage to use this concept to criticize how Hispanics say Spanish words in English
Replying to @fin0cchi0
This is definitely a thing with learning Japanese. In order to say English loan words (of which there are a lot) properly you need to basically butcher them in a way that can feel a bit uncomfortable at first like "ai raiku furaido chikin" etc.

Ken Paxton’s own lawyer endorses James Talarico:
“I defended Ken Paxton for years in the impeachment trial and in state criminal cases. But in my view, I think Ken has lost sight of his core mission, which is to represent the people of Texas.
And unlike Ken, I believe that you, James, believe in unity over division and that you know how to assemble not only Democrats but Independents and Republicans and we need that right now.
We need unity, we don't need any more division and that's why I'm supporting you.”
No, it didn't. The screenshots literally say it told her to consult a physician for *hours*.
She made the unreasonable decision not to, and kept pressing for the answer she had clearly already decided on in her mind. People are responsible for the choices they make.
