Both Darwin and Gould recognized that the fossil record is not consistent with Darwin’s theory. Darwin hoped more fossils would be discovered. Gould proposed a whole new mechanism. Genetics is a more straightforward window into the truth about our origins. Sorry John.

There are 561,119 gene-disease associations in human genome at population level. But the number of random beneficial mutations is close to zero. There is no mechanism for evolution.

As a general summary, I would argue that the molecular machinations required for evolution to occur are so complex and specific that they themselves would have to be designed and could not logically have evolved. I can give many examples. But one should be enough.
