I wondered why there are so many people joining Anagram who have not used n_ostr before.
The Anagram Youtube video has 7.3k views, that's organic Youtube growth, rather than people from bitcoin-x/n_ostr echochamber (where the video post has 100ish likes). A wave of new users 🙌

This is why nostr wins, building things like this for telegram/signal/whatsapp would be near impossible.

I've been saying for a decade, the supply chain attack is hww biggest threat, which is why we bowser.
Good TRNG and obfuscated supply chain, far outweighs fancy shmancy secure elements (keep your hww safe, as you would a paper wallet).
Added the ESP32-2432S028R / E32R28T (resistive touch) to #bitcoin Bowser Wallet (<$10 and comes with a little case!). Thats 4 generic microcontrollers NO one will know you will turn into a hww.

Yesterday I began fully integrating the @OpenAI trust cyber program into my Bitcoin Red Team efforts.
This morning I woke up to see this.
I am now being blocked from doing additional analysis on a codebase which I've already responsibly disclosed to, and have received confirmation had legitimate findings.
To be clear, this is after having already KYC'd and completed the onboarding process months ago to use the cyber capabilities OpenAI has to offer.
I am now prevented from being able to continue the investigation in a further effort to make sure their code changes are sufficient, as well as understand if there are other issues that have yet to be discovered.
It absolutely guts me as a patriotic American to have to do this, but I will be going back to using Chinese open source models to conduct my research to protect Bitcoin infrastructure.
Black hats will not hit these issues. The white hats will. We've hit a local minima in policy. Intelligence is unrestricted for those who don't follow rules, and those who engadge in harm reduction are left on the sidelines.
What are we doing in this country? How is this keeping people safe?

Had an absolutely brilliant time at the Cumbria Bitcoin meetup this weekend!
Thanks to @LakeDistrictBTC for organising and to @englishlakes @BenBrry for hosting!
I think what made it even better is that it was hosted by a local Cumbrian business that’s genuinely embracing Bitcoin. I’ve been coming to Low Wood Bay for years, so when I saw they were accepting Bitcoin last year, I was ridiculously excited. Not only because it’s Bitcoin, but because it’s practically on my doorstep. For once I didn’t have to travel halfway across the country to find my people. 😂
Massive credit to the team for backing Bitcoin and helping push adoption forward. It’s so easy to follow the crowd but it’s much harder to be out in front waving the Bitcoin flag, especially up here in Cumbria where there aren’t exactly thousands of us roaming about in the wild.
Also, completely unrelated to Bitcoin, but the spa is top tier 🫧 . If you’re going to orange pill yourself, you may as well do it with a thermal infinity pool and a nice view. ⛰️
If you’re a Bitcoiner and love the Lake District, definitely check it out. It’s great to see a local business leading the way!!
Already looking forward to the next meetup. Although I suspect my partner is delighted I’ve finally found some people willing to listen to me talk about Bitcoin for three hours straight! On repeat! – at Ambleside, England

We have something amazing to announce soon!
10 Salvadoran families will receive a grant to grow a regenerative crop.
We have a dream.. help local poor farmers 2-5x their monthly income with regenerative organic crops but more important.. stop relying on chemicals. Heal the soil, the rivers, our food, our bodies.

As I have a a lot of new followers (thank you all for following me) a small introductory to who I am!
I grew up on a family farm, which my dad (Farmer Clive) still farms. I attended Moulton College in Northampton, then Milton College in Cambridge.
I worked on several different farms during this time, doing seasonal work such as potato stacking, harvesting, and irrigation.
I also started growing early potatoes on a small acreage on my dad’s farm – harvesting and bagging them by hand, then selling them to fish and chip shops before the main crop was harvested.
At 21, I applied for a Cambridgeshire County Farms tenancy. I had to do cash flows, business plans, a SWOT analysis, and two interviews.
Out of 60+ applicants, I managed to secure the tenancy. It was 178 acres, and I’ve now managed to increase it to around 400 acres,
Growing wheat, barley and potatoes. I’m still here now with my wife and our two sons.
Look out for the next few posts explaining all but in a little bit more detail, I’ll also share how and why I got into doing this social media stuff.

BITCOIN RAILS #59: Post-Quantum Bitcoin Signatures (+ their tradeoffs) | with BIP 360 co-author @Ethan_Heilman and @Blockstream Head of Research @n1ckler
🔗 YOUTUBE: youtu.be/o3RNpsprTyE
🌿 SPOTIFY: open.spotify.com/episode/5vk…
According to BIP 360 co-author Ethan Heilman, Bitcoin needs a minimum of two soft forks to become quantum resistant: P2MR (or an output type that can safely execute PQ signatures) + a post-quantum checksig (signature scheme).
Ethan and the BIP 360 team (including myself and @cryptoquick) introduced the P2MR part via a BIP 360 update late last year—but the question remains, what’s the most appropriate PQ signature scheme for Bitcoin?
They all have substantive tradeoffs, but hash-based signatures seem to be leading technical discourse—likely due to recent optimizations by @n1ckler and the broader @Blockstream research team.
It was an honor to sit down with both of these men - arguably the two most influential and productive cryptographers in Bitcoin quantum mitigation right now - for an in-depth review of the leading PQ signature schemes and a temperature check on Bitcoin’s post-quantum planning process.
TBH, if you want to skip the noise and jump straight to the signal on quantum, this is the interview to watch.
In this episode, we discuss:
- What needs to happen at the soft fork, infra, and mitigation levels to fully quantum-harden Bitcoin
- Recent updates to BIP 360 + breakdown of the leading hash-based signatures schemes for Bitcoin (SHRINCS + SHRIMPS)
- Why we may actually get consensus around a stateful scheme for Bitcoin
- Comparisons of hash-based signatures vs Lattice and Isogeny-based schemes
- Assessing the risks of both waiting too long and acting too fast (and why quantum is a better threat to be facing than a potential classical attack)
This episode of Bitcoin Rails is brought to you by my NEW sponsors:
- LayerTwo Labs @LayerTwoLabs — developing research, software, and technologies for scaling Bitcoin via the integration of Drivechains (BIP 300/301)
- Hashi on @SuiNetwork — a primitive for executing Bitcoin Defi transactions, without having to trust a federated bridge or other centralized entity
