Day 792 of still being speechless that a significant portion of the population believes being a billionaire means someone has a billion dollars in their checking account.
Unpopular opinion: i honestly think billionaires should be ilłegal. Anything just over a billion should be taxed 100% and go to public services. NO reason for any single person to have that much money.

Here’s what you didn’t say: 1. You took away our doctors. 2. You took away access in many many small towns across America, 3. You told us it would be affordable but it’s not. 4. You tried to make it look affordable by hiding the costs and passing them on to our children and grandchildren. BECAUSE IT WAS A TROJAN HORSE FOR SOCIALIZED MEDICINE AND NOW YOU WANT TO BLAME OTHERS SO YOU CAN FINALIZE THE PROCESS. And now y’all are trying to do the same to our country with communist congressfolk. May God have mercy on us.
The numbers are in, and they are devastating. 5,000,000 Americans have dropped their Affordable Care Act coverage. Here’s why. Premiums on these plans doubled, on average, from last year to this one. Deductibles hit a record high. And families who were getting by suddenly found a monthly bill they simply could not pay.  So they did the only thing they could. They gave up the coverage they needed. And it did not have to be this way. The reason costs exploded is that Trump and Republicans in Congress let the tax credits that kept these plans affordable expire. We fought to extend them. We warned, for months, exactly what would happen if those credits went away. Republicans pushed their agenda through anyway, in their Big Ugly Bill, and chose tax breaks for billionaires over keeping a working family’s doctor visit within reach. Now look at how they’re trying to spin it. The administration wants you to believe this drop is about fraud. That’s nonsense and they know it. Independent health policy experts have looked at the data and reached the same conclusion. People did not disappear because of some crackdown. They disappeared because they could not afford the bill anymore. When you double someone’s premium, they drop the plan. This is not complicated. It is as cruel and cynical as it gets. And the people who did this are going to answer for it. npr.org/2026/06/26/nx-s1-586…

This is the ultimate midwit healthcare take. No, 32 countries have not “figured out” universal healthcare. The UK has “free” healthcare, and roughly 1 in 3 cancer patients in England still fail to start treatment within 62 days of urgent referral. Canada has “free” healthcare, and the median wait for neurosurgical treatment is around a year. Australia has “free” healthcare, and over half the country still buys private insurance despite paying for a public universal system with their taxes. Switzerland has universal coverage, because residents are required to buy private insurance. There is no government system where benevolent bureaucrats tuck you in at night with a warm blanket and an MRI appointment. The actual lesson from other wealthy countries is not “they figured it out.” America’s system has huge problems. Our prices are insane, insurance markets are distorted, and hospital systems are cartelized. Our regulations make care more expensive than it needs to be. Yet we still guarantee access to even the 8% who don’t have coverage. We give easy routes to qualify for medicaid for those with disabilities. Pretending the rest of the world solved healthcare because they slapped the word “universal” on a rationing scheme is not analysis. It is bumper sticker policy for people who think access means having a card in your wallet while you wait a year to see the doctor you need.
Free Universal Healthcare is so complicated and expensive that only 32 of the 33 wealthiest countries in the world have figured it out.

Calling for things like: > Price control > Rent control > "Free" anything (e.g. healthcare, prescription drugs, college, food, housing) > Employment guarantees > "Hate speech" laws > Mandatory union membership > Eliminating private property You might not call yourself a communist. But if you consistently advocate for policies that expand state control over markets, property, and speech ESPECIALLY in ways historically associated with communist systems? People are going to use that label whether you like it or not. Everything on my list is a mainstream democrat talking point. *THAT* is why you get called "communists"

So what happens when on January 20th, 2029… Trump leaves and everything is better than it was on January 20th, 2025? What if illegal immigration is down to a trickle? What happens if also in the very least, he sends a million currently here, home? What happens if real wages are up 20% over inflation? What if Russia and Ukraine settle? What if he cuts the annual deficits by $500 billion a year by increasing revenues and cuts in spending. Will the Left say, “ok that wasn’t so bad?”

Some Democrat Voters are realizing they may have been wrong and in an echo chamber “I genuinely was riding that blue wave and felt like we were really unified in that. Obviously, I was aware of the MAGA presence, but I didn't quite realize just how massive it was.” “It's becoming abundantly clear to me that the reality that I'm seeing is not the same as a lot of you” “So, yeah, I mean, I just wanna hear what you guys have to say. What is it about him? What is it about the campaign? What do you feel like he's going to do to push our country forward? — I'm genuinely confused, and I wanna know.”

It sucks that so many Americans because of ego, ignorance or indoctrination are cool with: -Open borders -Boys playing sports against girls -High prices for everything -Sanctioned racism -Foreign wars -Govt surveillance -Censorship Why? Because you hate Trump? Crazy.

I’m disabled, too. Every day IS hard. But acting like a complete bitch is not going to solve any of your problems. Go ahead and block me. I don’t care. Kamala openly said that she is opposed to freedom of speech, and that she wanted to confiscate my firearms. I am a sexual assault survivor. Who the fuck are you or anybody else to tell me how I choose to defend myself? You voted for the party destroying our sports. The party that took away our private spaces. You voted for the party that puts violent sexual predators into women’s prisons. You’re welcome to your opinion, certainly, but don’t you dare climb on your high horse about WoMeN’s RiGhTs when you voted for the people who don’t even know what a woman is. Have a nice day. Edit: as a wealthy person, maybe you’re just too out of touch with the daily struggles that other disabled women are having trying to pay their bills and to put food on the table. Because you also voted for the people who destroyed the economy, making those women’s lives so much harder.
Replying to @LittleLeinaa
Oh I’m whining??? Really. If you don’t know who I am yet you follow me then fuck off. I am disabled. Everyday of my life is hard.

This is the problem with seeing people as group-units rather than as individuals. Trump's policy toward "Hispanics" overall - deporting illegals, fighting Tren de Aragua style crime in the barrio, funding small business - will greatly HELP (say) a Cuban or Mexican restaraunter in LA, who is a proud citizen.
Hispanics — a group of people that will likely suffer the most under a Trump regime — have given him the largest gains. Unbelievable.

Smug elitism like this is why people hate the left. Along with your manufactured outrage about "education." People are tired of seeing public school performance decline despite the highest per capita spend in almost the entire world, and the lefts continued insistence on keeping poor and disenfranchised kids in failing schools. They're also tired of disingenuous pearl clutching about "book bans" which are actually an attempt to keep sexually graphic material out of the hands of children. Stop lying and stop thinking that living in (or pretending to live in) rarified air makes you somehow superior to the majority of Americans. In short, Sue...it's you. You're the problem. You're the reason the left just crashed and burned. And I'm sure you and your ilk will learn exactly NOTHING from this. 🙄

Racism doesn't explain the Senate. Misogyny doesn't explain the House. "Felon" doesn't explain the Presidency. "Nazi" doesn't explain the popular vote. Maybe* you just suck. (*no maybe. You do suck)

Great! You can explain to your daughters and your granddaughters why women’s sports were destroyed and why they have to share a locker room with biological men.
