Now that I’ve had a few days to calm down, I’ve looked at more data in the Texas election. I had not realized how much our population has boomed with non-Texans — foreign-born, blue state refugees, young people — who do not share or even understand what makes Texas, TEXAS. True Texans aren’t just “conservative.” We are independent and self-reliant in a way that other conservative states are not. Now we are in the minority. Every time Abbott brought a new big biz to Texas and they brought most of their existing staff with them, we gave up a little bit of Texas. Every time he invited in foreign influence, we gave up a bit of Texas. When Dan Patrick championed the most conservative approaches to abortion and marijuana, we lost votes. The pendulum had swung as far right as possible and on Election Day, it swung back to the left. When state leaders pushed through school choice, vehemently opposed by core, rural Texans and pushed data centers without even considering voters’ concerns, we gave up red votes. By not seeing any of this, we inadvertently turned Texas over to the left. How do we get it back? Was there cheating? Probably. But it’s not the whole story - we’d likely have lost anyway. If we ignore the demographic changes that have happened in Texas, we will never get it back.

🇺🇸 CHEATING IN TEXAS on this scale would have been exceptionally difficult. Here's why: KEN PAXTON spent years building one of the most aggressive election fraud operations in AMERICA! His office ran a year-round Election Integrity Division. In 2021 he added a dedicated Election Integrity Unit with its own lawyers, investigators and support staff, plus a public tip line for fraud reports. The money was real. Budget records show more than $2.6 MILLION in federal grants went to election fraud work from 2018 through 2023. The muscle was real too. In 2024 his unit executed search warrants in Frio, Atascosa and Bexar counties chasing vote harvesting. 🚨 VOTER INTEGRITY RULES: - Photo ID required at the polls, from a list of seven approved IDs - Mail voting limited to seniors 65+, the sick or disabled, voters out of the county, and a few others - Mail ballots must carry an ID number that matches your registration - Officials can't mail out unsolicited ballot applications - it's a crime - One drop box per county, at the election office - Drive-thru and 24-hour voting banned - Ongoing citizenship checks of the voter rolls That was the machine watching Texas on November 3. If Trump is to prove fraud here, he needs hard evidence of the mechanism used. If we cannot prove fraud in Texas, I doubt we can prove fraud anywhere. It's up to Trump.

We turned out at “typical midterm levels,” but Dems turned out at presidential election levels. That’s the problem. There likely was some cheating, but they probably would have won anyway (though it would have been closer).
There was no turnout problem. Republicans turned out at typical midterm levels. There was no voter crossover problem. Republicans voted Republican 95% of the time in 2024, 94% in 2026. The Democrat midterm vote was historically unprecedented, except 2018. That is the story.

I thought liberals didn’t like conquerors.

Just to be clear, stopping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon was THE MOST AMERICA FIRST thing President Trump has done. If you don't understand that, you don't know what Iran is about. PERIOD! End of post.

It’s scary how much influence these assholes have. Trump lost most of the young men he’d gained in 2024 thanks to these jerks.
The generational wipeout of the party came through people like Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, and all of the people in media like the Federalist and the Daily Caller, who were their fluffers. Who said that if you stand up to these people, then it’s basically a campaign against JD Vance. Tucker Carlson told millions of people the day before the midterms that Trump was going to wipe out Iran with a nuclear weapon, and Nick Fuentes spent the entire month of October saying that not only did the Republicans have to lose, but they had to lose so bad they wouldn’t be able to actually recover. Why might you ask? Because the new rights has the same foreign policy and economic policy as the current left. They have no problem using your anger at social issues to control you and to make the pendulum swing all the way back until you end up with a dictator.

The thing that disgusts me about the "We lost because of Iran, MAGA is over, tear it all down" crowd is that I cannot find a single one of them who acknowledges that stopping a nuclear Iran might be more important than any midterm election. Have the decency to acknowledge these facts: 1. Iran declared war on the USA in 1979. 2. We have been dealing with this reality fecklessly since that time. 3. The Iranian mullahs are not rational actors. They want nukes so they can USE THEM to precipitate Armageddon and bring forth the Twelfth Imam who will miraculously arise from a well in Qom and forcibly unite what is left of humanity under Shia Islam. 4. Trump may have had intel that said he needed to act before it was too late, midterms be damned. I ACKNOWLEDGE that the Iran War likely cost us the election. Why can't YOU acknowledge that Trump may have had no choice and acted bravely for the greater good of humanity? WHY DO YOU REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS POSSIBILITY?

The Midterm is Not the Endterm It is too soon to calibrate the direction of the post midterm Democratic and Republican Parties. But if the first 72 hours are any indication—and despite the soon to be Speaker’s denials—the Left is already bragging about subpoenas, and it is intoxicated by the notion of investigations and impeachments. Heady Democrats have entirely forgotten the politically suicidal fashion of the 2021-4 five civil and criminal courtroom circuses, the Mar-a-Lago raid, and the blue state deballoting efforts. All that and more fueled the Trump recovery. Wild talk of multi-trillion-dollar new agendas grows, like socializing the health care system, a renewed Green New Deal, student loan forgiveness, and illegal alien amnesties, along with new punitive income and estate regulations and taxes. This socialist dream is reminiscent of the 2021 giddy splurging that gave the country a 9.1% inflation rate by midterm year 2022. Along with the Afghanistan disaster (the Left’s correction for a Middle East ‘forever war”) the inflation would ensure Biden a 40% popularity. The idea that the Left, which cannot do much real lawmaking without a veto-proof Congress, will try to reach deals with the White House, adopt a 1995 Clinton-like realist agenda, simply claim credit for the growing Trump economy, or moderate its rhetoric is highly unlikely. Instead, we hear crazy talk of confiscations, new billionaire and millionaire punitive taxes, imprisonments, changing the Constitution—all in full suicidal 1972 McGovern style. Republicans are blame-gaming each other, which can be constructive if over issues and reforms rather than social media ad hominem. But they need to message far better, about both the administration’s successes and the dangers of a socialist future. There will be likely be no planned presidential succession, or gentlemanly agreement on a front runner. That’s likely good news. More likely as of now a triangular race between front-runners De Santis, Rubio, and Vance emerges—all of whom are far preferable to any ticket with a Newsom, Harris, AOC, Mamdani, or el-Sayed. If the Republicans can stay reasonably united, they can ensure permanent presidential vetoes of crazy leftwing legislation, fight back on the Democratic committee inquisitions, and see the economy in the final two years become an asset in recovering their popularity. Absent in all conversations is that there is increasing evidence that the economy is actually expanding and has the potential to boom in 2027, or at least the data indicate such potential. The jobs report came out yesterday with a stunning 165,000 jobs created in October (accompanied by the usual journalists’ adverb “unexpectantly”), dropping unemployment to 4.1%. Revised 3rd GDP stats now show a robust 3.4% growth—likely ensuring at least 3%+ growth for the year. Third Quarter consumer spending soared 3.8%. Private domestic investment surged with 19.4% growth. Just reported last week: median family income in 2025 hit a new record ($87,460)—the highest in 60 years adjusted for inflation. And poverty dipped to its lowest rate (ever 10.2%). In October manufacturing activity grew faster than at any time in the past five years. Yes, prices are too high, and final 2026 inflation, given gas hikes, is scheduled to increase by one point (3.7%) from last year’s (2.7%). But it is still lower than the pan-European average (ca. 4+%)—and much lower than the Biden average over four years of 5.1%. Gas prices are already falling. On November 6 prices fell to a $4.06 average—as global oil transit is mostly back to prewar levels and refineries scramble to handle the increased deliveries. U.S. companies are dominating all the top 10 rankings in market capitalization/usage in key area such as software, AI, digital media, space, satellite launches, and bio/genetic engineering. Note that today gas prices are not that much higher than 4 years ago at the 2022 midterm time ($4.06 vs. ca. $3.80), and haven’t once spiked to $5 a gallon as they did in 2022, just four months before the Biden midterms. Yet oddly, the red wave sputtered in 2022 when the U.S. was in far worse economic shape than this week when the blue wave became a tsunami. Messaging, media, and communication count, so note: Four years ago GDP growth was lower than today—even though the pandemic was about over and there was a dramatic return to work and spending. The inflation rate was almost three times higher in 2022 than now. Median family income was $14,000 lower than now. The poverty rate was higher in 2022. The Dow was 20,000 points lower. Foreign investment will likely end the year 30-40% higher than in 2022. Real wage growth (nominal wages minus inflation) while not great in 2026 is likely to end the year far better than in 2022 (when real wage growth fell 2-3%). So why would “affordability” have been decisive in the 2026 midterms when it was not in 2022? The 21% aggregate inflation rate Trump inherited force-multiplied the average 3.15% Trump inflation rate of 2025-6— yet in a way the aggregate first-term Trump inflation rate (7.7% just a third of the Biden total) did not exaggerate all that much the 9.1% inflation rate in 2022. Messaging, however, matters. The administration did not explain adequately that a 21% rise in prices cannot be lowered without radical deflation or recession, but only ameliorated by medium family income growth and lowering the inflation rate from the Biden 2021-5 averages, both of which occurred in 2025-6, but were forgotten. Media coverage of the Biden 2022 weak economy were muted, while Trump’s 2-year inflation rate was exaggerated during 2026. The Iran war became the culprit as a war of choice that made the inherited Biden 21% high prices and the inability to lower were them solely Trump’s fault. Again, there was inadequate explanation of either the economic reality or why the gamble to denuclearize Iran was defensible–with the caveat that stopping the bombing at day 38 and talking with theocrats for seven months was an unfortunate mistake. The domestic and foreign policy activism of the lame-duck Clinton (1998-2000} and Obama (2014-2016) presidencies increased after their loss of Congress. Indeed, their popularity climbed from a once nadir of below forty to sixty percent approval or above. There is no reason why the Trump administration cannot have a successful last two years. The economy is growing. The crime rate is at historic lows. The border is closed shut. The radical pro-Western political transformation of South and Central America has remade the entire Western Hemisphere. European NATO is rearming. Oil and gas production is at highest levels of any nation in history. The bloated federal work force has been trimmed by over 270,000 jobs. There is no longer a 40,000-50,000 shortfall in military recruitment. The forced reforms in higher education were long overdue. The verdict on Iran is still out. If it is denuclearized, the crippling sanctions continued, the Strait kept open, the provincial opposition armed—and our military gone home— the regime will face an increasingly restive population 2026 was an unequivocal defeat, but 2028 need not be. If the administration and Congress stay disciplined and united, and can message better, while the Left goes utterly berserk, drunk on their midterm successes, socialism/Islamism, and Trump Derangement Syndrome 2.0, the tide will soon radically turn— as the economy already has.

I ran the numbers. With the exception of Ken Paxton*, Texas Republican midterm statewide candidates slightly outperformed historical expectations. Democrats UNPRECEDENTEDLY outperformed them. Prior to 2026, it was rare for a statewide race candidate to outperform the presidential candidate of two years prior. In 2026, EVERY SINGLE STATEWIDE CANDIDATE obtained more raw votes than Kamala Harris. This has never happened before. Methods. I asked: What average % of the presidential vote does each Texas statewide race candidate get in the midterms, for each party? Then I compared what each candidate was expected to get, based on historical trends since 1992**, to what they actually got in 2026. The present figure is after adjusting for which party had a president in office; midterm turnout is on average higher for parties who lost the presidency. The unadjusted version is in the next, threaded post, for completeness. * Paxton would have lost even if he had performed at slightly above historical expectation, as other Republican candidates had, as you can see in the right-hand figure. ** Texas and national politics worked very differently before the 1990s, with many conservatives voting Republican for president and Democrat for state office. They are not comparable.

The argument that America is only in the Middle East because of Israel is not just wrong. It is historically illiterate and anyone parroting it just wants to revise history. America’s strategic interest in the Middle East predates the modern state of Israel. Franklin Roosevelt met with Saudi Arabia in 1945, three years before Israel existed, to establish America’s relationship with Gulf oil. The Truman Doctrine, the Eisenhower Doctrine, the Carter Doctrine, all of them were built around one thing: keeping Soviet hands off Middle Eastern oil and keeping the global energy supply out of hostile control. This was always about oil and geography. The Middle East sits at the intersection of three continents and controls the energy supply of the entire industrialized world. America would have a vital strategic interest in that region if Israel had never existed at all. The 1953 Iran coup was about British oil interests and Soviet encroachment. Not Israel. The 1958 Lebanon intervention was about Arab nationalism and Soviet influence. Not Israel. The tanker wars of the 1980s were about keeping oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz during the Iran-Iraq war. Not Israel. The 1991 Gulf War was about Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait and threatening Saudi Arabia. Not Israel. In fact Israel stayed out of it entirely at American request even after Saddam fired Scud missiles at Tel Aviv. America fought that war to protect Arab oil states, not Israel. The 2001 Afghanistan invasion was a direct response to September 11th, which was planned in Afghanistan by a Saudi national running an organization funded by Gulf money with ideology rooted in Egyptian and Saudi Wahhabism. Not Israel. The 2003 Iraq invasion, whatever you think of it, was about weapons of mass destruction claims, regional dominance, and finishing what 1991 started. Not Israel. And now Iran. America’s conflict with Iran began in 1979 when the Islamic Revolution took 52 American diplomats hostage for 444 days. Before Israel had anything to do with it. Iran has killed over 500 American soldiers through proxies in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran plotted to assassinate a Saudi ambassador on American soil. Iran directed attacks on American embassies and bases across the region for decades. Iran was months from a nuclear weapon that its leadership had explicitly said it would use to threaten America’s allies and eventually America itself. Every single one of those is an American interest and an American reason to act that has nothing to do with Israel. The argument that Israel is why America is in the Middle East is based on nothing. America was in the Middle East before Israel existed, stayed in the Middle East for reasons entirely independent of Israel, and has fought its bloodiest Middle Eastern conflicts against enemies who were America’s enemies first and Israel’s enemies second. Israel is not why America is in the Middle East. Oil, geography, Soviet containment, terrorism, nuclear proliferation, and 47 years of Iranian aggression directed specifically at the United States are why America is in the Middle East. Now I have heard a lot of people criticize this war, a lot of lazy people who refuse to actually engage with the history and what’s going on in that region. So let me ask them this; what was Donald Trump supposed to do? Was he supposed to let them enrich, or are you going to be a child and pretend like they were not enriching uranium to get to a nuclear weapon because some podcaster told you so? What is the specific path forward when it comes to a relationship with Israel? What specifically would people like to see happen? How is that going to secure our national interest in that region? And how are we going to deal with Iran and their seven terrorist proxies that attack American bases? I want actual answers to those questions, not a bunch of lunatics running around screaming Neocon.

And you thought they’d focus on affordability 🤦‍♀️
A progressive group led by former Biden, Warren and Sanders aides has assembled a 182-page blueprint mapping out potential Democratic congressional investigations targeting President Trump's corporate allies and donors. The document, obtained and analyzed by Fox News Digital, names Tesla, Apple, Amazon, OpenAI, Meta, Google, Microsoft, Oracle and others as targets for potential hearings. It also names Palantir's Alex Karp and Coinbase's Brian Armstrong individually. The blueprint goes beyond corporate targets, urging scrutiny of Trump's personal finances, his tax arrangements, cryptocurrency businesses and alleged preferential treatment of corporate donors. A longtime Democratic Senate staffer familiar with the process says Democratic majorities on these committees already plan to exclusively focus on targeting allies and donors of the president, including those who donated to the new White House ballroom. Draining the swamp is a mandate, and we have an obligation to deliver. Entrenched interests have exercised power in Washington under both parties for decades. President Trump and I intend to keep fighting until the American people—not corporate influence—drive our health policies. I stand firmly behind President Trump and the historic reforms we are advancing together. In less than two years, this administration has rewritten federal dietary guidelines to emphasize real food, secured commitments from major food companies to remove petroleum-based synthetic dyes and other additives, launched systematic reviews of chemicals already in our food supply, and proposed requiring companies to notify the FDA before introducing ingredients they independently deem safe. These are concrete steps toward accountability that Americans demanded. We have hundreds of other accomplishments but there's still more work to do. We must finish food-ingredient reform, advance our work on ultra-processed foods, and put children’s health at the center of federal policy. I will keep pressing those priorities across this administration and work with anyone in either party who will help deliver them. The American people deserve a government that puts their health first. President Trump gave me a mandate to put prevention at the center of health care and end the chronic disease epidemic to Make America Health Again.

🚨 WARNING: Democrats are now just 48 electoral votes away from GUTTING the Electoral College without a constitutional amendment. The National Popular Vote Compact already has 18 states plus D.C., which adds up to 222 electoral votes. On Tuesday, Democrats took full control of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada. That's 61 more votes. If all five sign on in 2027, the Compact hits 283. Your state's vote could go to whoever wins CALIFORNIA and NEW YORK. The Founders built the Electoral College for a reason. Democrats want to work around it.

The cartels made the Houston Mayor an offer he couldn’t refuse: “lead or gold.” Houston then declared itself a sanctuary city, and in January, the entire state of Texas will follow suit. Pretty much every Texas Democrat who won in the midterms is on the payroll of the cartels, from the governor to the lieutenant governor to the attorney general, Comptroller, Land Commissioner, Agriculture Commissioner, Railroad Commissioner, multiple seats on the Texas Supreme Court and Court of Criminal Appeals; they flipped the Texas House and even elected a U.S. Senator, etc. GPS—Roughly 200,000–250,000 adults with a felony conviction live in Houston — on the order of 1 in 7 to 1 in 8 adults in the city. For Harris County as a whole, that’s 400,000–500,000. Scale: HPD sources put Houston at ~353 gangs and ~20,000 documented gang members (KHOU); the 2018 HPD gang map listed 140+ gangs. HPD’s Gang Division runs the Gang Tracker database and the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force. Official Texas DPS threat tiers: Tier 1 (highest) = Tango Blast and its cliques (Houstone is the Houston clique and the largest gang in the region), Texas Mexican Mafia, Latin Kings, MS-13, Barrio Azteca. Tier 2 includes Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, Aryan Circle, Texas Syndicate, Bloods, Crips, Bandidos, Gangster Disciples. Local/street sets: 5th Ward Circle, 52 Hoover Crips, 59 Bounty Hunters, 59 Piru, Southwest Cholos, La Primera, Treetop/Hilltop Bloods, Hiram Clarke 77, South Park 102 Neighborhood Piru, and dozens more cataloged on stophoustongangs.org — plus newer hybrid crews (Free Money, YNS) that drew federal RICO indictments in 2026, and the Homietos OMG. Geography: Southwest Houston/Alief, Greenspoint, 5th/3rd Ward, South Park, Sunnyside, Hiram Clarke; suburban spillover into Katy and Cypress. Houston, buckle up; no one is coming to save you. ☠️
