@urbancompany_UC For more than 2 days I made multiple attempts to claim warranty on a service I took from you. Every time the message is same - we are very busy 🤪 Why offer warranty when you don’t allow me to claim it. Your people can call me. Don’t try the DM trick on me please

Why are the rules different? Nestle gets a notice for high amounts of total phosphorus in its low fat dairy whitener when added phosphorus is within permissible limits, but Indians will not get warned about total free sugars and total fats! Why are we going to get FOPLwarnings only about added sugars and added fats?! So that food industry can sell products sweetened with fruit pulp, date syrup, honey etc as 'No sugar' product?!
We all know how the metabolism works in reality. To a child’s developing liver and pancreas, glucose is glucose and fructose is fructose whatever the source is. They cause the exact same insulin spikes and dental caries and affect the liver exactly the same way! Maltodextrins have higher glycemic index than sugar. If FSSAI doesn't come up with FOPL warnings about total sugars and total fats instead of added sugars and added fats, about maltodextrins, and about non nutritive sweeteners as well, the industry is going to wreak havoc! They are going to sell all their products containing date syrup, honey, fruit pulp, fruit juices as 'no sugar' products! Parents will not be warned shout maltodextrins or non nutritive sweeteners!
This is going to be a major flaw in Front-of-Pack Label warnings or FOPL warnings. Consider a packaged fruit puree or fruit pulp bar or a tetrapack with fruit juice. Because the sugar comes from the fruit itself, it is not classified as "added." A child could consume 20 grams of free sugar in one sitting, yet the package will have no warning about the free sugar in it.
The law is not only going to act as a shield for corporate profits but also mislead public into believing that food products containing sugars other than jaggery and sugar, are healthy and that they do not need to show any restraint while consuming them.

I may not travel on these Metro trains forever… but I take immense pride in knowing that my voice will travel from one generation to another. From me to my little grandson, Rushaan, and perhaps one day to his grandchildren… and beyond ♥️
Today, we took Rushaan on his very first Metro ride. He was equal parts amazed and bewildered to hear Dadu’s voice echoing through the train… a voice he knows, but in a place he had never heard it before.
A rather special moment for us 👶🚆

Insurance policy holders and prospective buyers of investment linked insurance plans do this:
Use an AI tool to upload the policy document.
Ask:
1. Give me the most important features relevant to me as a customer.
2. What is my rate of return?
3. How much is the cost of this policy?
4. What happens if I surrender early?
5. Is this investment the most efficient use of my money?

The regulator #IRDAI and @nsitharaman @nsitharamanoffc should look at the comments to this video.
Both these offices will be filled with lobby slop from the insurance industry and distribution.
But the comments - more than 700 of them - are the voice of the people.
Please listen and do not back off from this change.

The insurance regulator has itself put out data that proves what I have been saying for over 15 years:
the insurance industry is driven by distribution commissions, with no responsibility either of a suitable sale or claims help, put on the sales agent and this is leading to mis-selling and denial of claims.
Those upset must understand that the policyholder pays premium for protection and NOT to sustain bonuses of insurance CXOs or the livelihoods of agents.
IRDAI's consultation paper, that aims to change this structure, is under heavy fire by the industry and distribution incumbents.
Government should not blink.
The journey to Vikasit Bharat cannot be built on the tears and curses of policyholders.

Why does the official handle exist, when the social media team of @dcganderbal doesn’t even care to acknowledge a complaint. Doing something about it is too big an expectation.
As a concerned citizen of this country, I will keep raising the issue.

This is my appeal to the @dcganderbal regarding the mishandling of the ancient Naranag temple site. I have raised the issue several times, even on the Samadhan app of J&K but it’s getting closed without a response. The employees posted there are destroying the structure 1/4

did my B.Tech at IIT Bombay and my PhD at IIT Delhi. I've been a professor for 14 years now. In 22 years of watching the IIT/IIIT system closely, I have never once witnessed a teacher discriminate against a student on the basis of caste.
During my B.Tech, most of us had no idea what caste our batchmates belonged to. Many of my close friends were SC/ST. We never discussed it. It never entered any conversation or decision. Not once. Our exposure to the humanities department was limited, though — the term "Brahmanical patriarchy" didn't even exist back then.
As a teacher, I don't ask a student's name before solving their doubt. Often I don't know their name at all — some of my classes have 300+ students. We treat them all the same. So does every colleague I know. So did every professor who taught me.
Social media has now filled vulnerable students' heads with a lot of manufactured grievance about caste discrimination that, in my experience, doesn't exist.

I can hear his bitterness in the claim of 2.6 pct GDP number. It is a fact that revisions have happened for ever. And I think it very strange that one would use an unrevised (in other words not corrected number) number to compute present GDP. Revisions and corrections are very normal statistical exercises in Macro numbers. This claim will now be picked up by a whole lot of Opposition and its supporters to fly their “fake” claims. This country does have economists across government, banking, educational institutes and there are also international institutions that track Indian GDP. The claim suggests everyone of them have been fooled by this government. This gentleman is living in his own world of make-believe.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝟮.𝟲% 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲" 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺: a hilarious demonstration of economic ignorance on National TV.
𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 #𝟭: Take a nominal GDP number from the old series and compare it with a nominal GDP number from the new series. Divide one by the other and proclaim 2.6% "growth." That is comparing apples with oranges.
𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: When GDP series are revised, historical numbers are re-estimated using the same methodology to ensure an apples-to-apples comparison. Such an ECON 101 error!
𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 #𝟮: Use nominal GDP arithmetic to challenge a real GDP growth rate of 7.8%, while ignoring double deflation, a globally accepted methodology that India now adopts, and the actual constant-price estimates.
𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 #𝟯: Treat routine revisions, based on improved data and methodology, as "manipulation." Historical estimates are revised precisely because new data arrive and better information becomes available.

𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 #𝟰: Claim consumption growth was negative by committing the same errors, when official data show real private consumption grew 7.1%.
Claims about a supposedly "true GDP growth rate" manufactured by comparing incompatible numbers was not economics.
It was a hilarious demonstration of economic ignorance on National TV.
