Funny how unlimited content can make us even more selective about whose words we trust.
Most of the time, when I engage with my friends’ posts on X → like, comment, repost, or share, it has nothing to do with whether that specific piece of content resonates with me or not.
I do it from the heart, to support my fellow friends on the platform. Maybe that helps them get discovered by someone in my follower base, and that’s where an opportunity might happen.
But what I’ve noticed for a while now is that it’s not always reciprocal.
I’m simply stating a fact: people operate differently, and you should be aware of how much you invest in people.
