We built a tool for that, with a big focus on quality so nothing gets lost in translation:
- Export your Figma to html
- Feed the html to Claude divriots.com/export.design/
Adobe XD → Editable Figma✨
1. Open the #Figma plugin
2. Drop you XD file
3. Start editing
Bonus: runs locally, your file never leaves your machine.
Here's the full workflow 👇

+1, hence the need for reliable tools and MCP that don't lose bits translating code <-> Figma – we've been working on it since, well, before AI 😊

Could be faster (and cheaper) to drop the code to html.to.design, + it has an MCP that gives better results than the Figma one (better structure, autolayout, use of grids..)
Record a user flow → get every page in #Figma, in order ✨
→ Click "Record flow"
→ Browse like a real user
→ Export steps → Send to Figma
Editable layers, links ported to Figma prototype + works behind a login.

We made a chrome extension just for that, and we just added "record a flow" to it
- You navigate to reproduce your user flow
- Each webpage is imported into Figma, in the right order, 100% editable)
- The links are ported and work in Figma prototype
chromewebstore.google.com/de…
Canva has no "Export to Figma" button.
Here's the workaround ✨
- Open your design in Chrome
- Capture it with the chrome extension
- ⌘+V in #Figma → editable layers, not a PNG
Private drafts work too.

For any remaining psd, ai, or xd, we made plugins to import them all into Figma (fully editable, matching font, layers, naming, effects etc. of course 😊)
Quick reminder: html.to.design works with every major LLM ✨

→ Design something
→ Launch the Chrome extension
→ Import in #Figma
100% editable layers, in a couple of clicks 👇
