We need to see this ...
This journalist was reporting live when a baby elephant decided to interrupt his broadcast. It's the best thing you'll see all day. 😂
The fossil fuel industry is feasting on subsidies & windfall profits while household budgets shrink & our planet burns. We need to hold the industry and its enablers to account. At #UNGA, I call on all developed economies to tax the windfall profits of fossil fuel companies.

Don't use heating. Don't cook hot food. Don't expect a pay rise. Don't fall ill. Don't need a dentist. Don't swim in the sea. Don't use trains. Don't use airports. Don't bother reporting crime. Don't expect justice. Don't attempt to protest. Life in Tory Britain in 2022.

Absolutely agree with Michael Forshaw ..'With school budgets so tight, and competition within the marketplace fierce, schools need more transparency than ever around what actually works. @EdTechEvidence is here to ensure no one is left behind' #edtech #education

The reason the UK will have the lowest growth in the G7 next year is Brexit. We're not going to reverse the decline until we begin to remove the barriers - economic, social, scientific - that we chose to erect with the rest of our continent. That's not rocket science. Just say it
Under this Tory government, Britain’s growth has ground to a halt. And they are too distracted by their own failings to deal with it. Labour has a plan to tackle the cost of living crisis and build a stronger, more secure economy.

1% of global emissions is not little, it's a massive amount! It's also cumulative going forwards - each year's delay in the UK (or any country) not going net-zero means another huge slug of CO2 pumped into the atmosphere where it will stay for 1000s of years causing more warming!

Because of our undemocratic First Past the Post system, the UK Parliament does not reflect the British people. With Proportional Representation, seats would match votes and everyone's vote would count equally. It's time to #ChangeTheVotingSystem

Immensely impressive achievement. So grateful we have an NHS, and a community spirited staff and public, that's capable of this scale and speed of public health intervention in times of critical need .
