"buy legal guns"
Yeah that's what we did. All of our guns were completely legal with the appropriate paperwork when we bought them.

Can Canadians expect an impartial hearing when the Chief Justice has already publicly condemned the Freedom Convoy?
In this column, John Carpay argues that Justice Richard Wagner’s past remarks raise serious questions about judicial impartiality and why he should recuse himself from the Emergencies Act appeal.

💥EXPLOSIVE ATIP: IRCC officials and Ministers committed criminal negligence—and it needs an RCMP investigation.
Our last post showed, through ATIPs, that the Government knew since at least 2017 that immigration pathways were being defrauded by agents in India — and stamped the evidence "DO NOT DISCLOSE."
Now—these ATIPS reveal the Government let the program run for nearly a decade, until the industry's own association — the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants — finally put the fraud in writing and sent it to the deputy minister's desk.
IRCC moved within days— and Marc Miller took another five months to shut the door.
Under s.219 of the Criminal Code, criminal negligence is a "wanton or reckless disregard for the lives or safety of other persons."
If they acted immediately, sixteen people from the Humboldt Broncos would be alive, and Arnold and Joanne De Jong never would have been brutally tortured to death in their Abbotsford home by men who came here on student visas.
Four ministers ran this file—and all four are lawyers—and all four knew exactly what they were doing.
💥EXPLOSIVE ATIP: Immigration Canada knew Indian agents were running MASSIVE FRAUD in the trucking industry and the student visa program as early as 2017 — and stamped the evidence "DO NOT DISCLOSE."
According to records released under the Access to Information Act, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) maintained an internal procedures manual for its New Delhi visa office documenting systemic fraud across the student visa and temporary foreign worker streams. The manual instructs officers to treat fraud as anticipated rather than exceptional
The most damning thing about this scandal is not the fraud — it's that the government predicted it, kept it running, and then stamped the file "DO NOT DISCLOSE."
Canada didn't lose control of its immigration system—they monetized it.

Our democracy depends upon the basic idea that everyone is subject to our laws, including the governments who make them.
This demands that our courts operate independent of governments in order to serve the interests of citizens.

Richard Wagner.
Was is SCoC Chief Justice Richard Wagner?
Pereceived bias at the Supreme Court
How can Chief Justice Richard Wagner be objective about whether the govt's use of the Emergencies Act was constitutional, when he's already used the same rhetoric condemning the trucker protests as the government did?

Yes, Armed Civilians Can — and Do — Stop Mass Shootings: Data ignored by the FBI show the importance of defensive gun use in bringing down active shooters
Two days after last week’s attack on an Oregon elementary school, the @AP opened a news story with a familiar claim: “Few mass shootings in the U.S. end like the deadly attack on an Oregon elementary school: with an armed civilian opening fire on the gunman.”

Montgomery v. Louisiana is clear: a conviction under an unconstitutional law is illegal and void. Courts have no authority to leave such convictions or their disabilities in place. There is no grandfather clause for punishments the Constitution forbids.
That rule applies to the Second Amendment. When a gun law fails Bruen—or exceeds an enumerated power—the convictions and ongoing disarmament under it are void.
NICS denials, registration schemes, and state bans do not survive the holding. Enforce the Constitution.

PolySeSouvient is angry that the Firearms Classification Technical Advisory Group still has not met, nearly a year after it was announced.
We are concerned for a more fundamental reason: the government will not even say who is on it.
Public Safety says the group will bring together “diverse” views and meet “later this fall.” That is not transparency. It is another closed process that could lead to further prohibitions affecting licensed firearm owners, hunters, and sport shooters, without meaningful representation from the people most affected.
Past advisory panels have excluded Canada’s major firearms organizations. For this group, the government has released no names, disclosed no qualifications, and offered no confirmation that licensed owners or people with practical firearms expertise are included.
Licensed PAL holders are already screened and subject to ongoing eligibility checks. Yet they continue to face new restrictions developed through processes that offer little transparency and no assurance of meaningful representation.
Canadians deserve to know who is advising the government, what qualifications they bring, and whose perspectives are represented before their recommendations influence future firearm classifications.
Release the membership list. Include hunters, sport shooters, licensed owners, and genuine technical experts. No more decisions behind closed doors.
