I'm glad you raised this! Many people would consider participation in warfare--which is often unpaid and involuntary--to be less desirable than caring for family members at home. It seems to devalue more masculine-leaning contributions to society, even when they are widely regarded as heroic and noble.

Men in active war zones are such self-centered jerks. Just because they're fighting and dying DOES NOT mean they should be neglecting their partners needs. I bet not even ONCE during avoiding drone strikes they stopped and thought about HER feelings! #DoBetter

So let's forget the men who lose their lives, the males who carry the burden of lifelong injuries from protecting their families and communities, the boys who are forced to fight when they don't even understand what's happening around them. UN Women is bigoted and sexist. This taxpayer-funded propaganda and gaslighting must stop, because it's destroying relationships and fuelling a completely unnecessary gender war.

UN Women is deeply immoral in their valuation of human life: 100% focus on females, 0% care for males. This is the opposite of what inspired the creation of the United Nations. From Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights."

I don't normally react to this account. But I rather feel there might be another factor here that is being left unsaid.
Conflict places more of the care burden on women and girls' shoulders.
#Peace and security require more than their unpaid labor.
Women and girls must be at the heart of peacebuilding.

Men/boys are the large majority of combat deaths in conflicts — omitted. Boys also do care work — omitted. Saying women & girls must be “at the heart” of peacebuilding is prioritisation, not equality. Higher unpaid care ratios occur because men are dying or fighting.

False accusation against a man can do more than ruin his life… these men have mothers, fathers, male and female family and friends who’s lives are also affected.
Because of so many false accusations, if a woman accuses a man, men instantly think it’s a false accusation…

I’ve never subscribed to “believe all women,” and women like this are exactly why no one should. There isn’t a single demographic on earth that I would automatically believe 100% of the time. Not women, men, atheists, Christians, children, or anyone else. Every allegation deserves to be taken seriously, but no group is entitled to unquestioning belief.

In UK 71% of men have been sexually victimized by a woman, some by multiple. Unidirectional IPV is mostly female to male in uk. None of these stats get attention or headlines

Can you take care of that before going back to the front line, hon.....

2026 has seen me work with more falsely accused men & boys than any other year
I don’t know if this means false allegations are becoming more common or if more falsely accused men & boys are looking for support to help deal with the consequences but the issue needs more focus

In the UK, abused men and boys are classified as “Male victims of violence against women and girls.” I just can’t believe it. And, fyi, men are 41% of domestic abuse victims in the UK. Boys and men matter, too!
I’ve tried so many things to highlight the absurdity of how society neglects men and boys.
Infographics, filmmaking, personal testimony, podcasts, reels, written word, campaigns, protests, petitions, animations, poetry...
Each of these have had different levels of success, and largely feel underwhelming.
No matter what I create, it can never truly showcase what is going on.
And then, something is sent to my inbox, an official Government document no less, that captures the whacky landscape of men and boys issues better than anything I could ever hope to create.
This particular document was titled:
‘Supporting male victims of crimes considered violence against women and girls’.
Errr… male victims of violence against women and girls?!
It’s hauntingly perfect.
So let’s take a look at the damage such “gendering” of issues creates, who it harms, and how…

Women commit domestic violence, too.
Stabbed, scalded, starved, and ten days from death. When Alex Skeel got to hospital, he went back home to her.
She became the first woman in the UK convicted of coercive control.

This is the heart and soul of false allegations: You claim to be a victim and provide some "evidence" of that. But you actively hide the evidence that shows you're not a victim. And gullible people @MIT fall for it. Or...maybe those gullible people are willing participants?
