Omg everyone is figuring out all the good railroad analogies. Yeah the size of the buildout had 3 waves, think it’s possible this is similar this time. People got wrecked each time lol.

I will confess as a 19 year old, Doug joined the online valuation class and also read his textbook. But I think what makes markets so interesting is actually not valuation! It’s a good thing to know but his hit rate on stocks is…. Varied. He is one of the foundational teachers but those who cannot do, teach :)

Folks at Mozilla seem to have caught on and are asking the right questions 🫡 bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bu…
We are underestimating the bad faith eMudhra possibly operated in. They actively added a step to the key generation process causing this failure but are making it seem like a dumb mistake. Let me explain with diagrams and python snippets 👇

Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Anthropic with a reassuring message for everyone regarding cybersecurity☺️
as bad as things have gotten in the past 4 days, they are going to get a lot worse before they get better. security leaders, never let a crisis go to waste: please go to your boards and ask for help right now. not for ai, for the basics. (we need to hold on for ~18 months.)

I will leave my words here. This led to the Cyber Armageddon this week
We found DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 beats GPT 6 Sol on our multi-step offensive cybersecurity task. Sol was tested via the Daybreak trusted access program. We have been building a cybersecurity benchmark based on simulated corporate networks. This is a valuable indicator for the cyber-risk a model poses if in the hands of a bad actor. We plan to make the full evaluation public in the coming weeks but wanted to share our first immediate finding here.

Ed Zitron, a newsletter guy who's been calling the AI top for years, just had an absolute crash out 😂 "Jensen Huang is a piece of shit. Every hyperscaler CEO is too." He even apologized to his readers for having been too polite before. This is what being wrong on AI that long does to a man. What's next, Ed? Jensen did 9/11? 🤣
