With ~17 hours to go, over 90% of stake is ready for Alpenglow activation 🏔️
There are still validators on 4.3.0 or 4.3.1 that should upgrade to take advantage of performance enhancements, but they will work for the Alpenswitch.
Let's continue to push and get these last validators over the finish line 🏁

I wrote up how validator incentives change as Alpenglow replaces TowerBFT + TVC..
1. In TowerBFT, the next leader waits up to 2 PoH slots for a late block, then builds without it. If the late block lands anyway, the next leader is forked off..

This means that a validator's reward APY will now primarily depend on luck.
So I updated app.vx.tools and the Vortex API to help validators and delegators compare reward efficiency more objectively.
