WHO SILENCED DR DAVID KELLY
Most people scrolling past this have never heard the name Dr David Kelly. They should.
He was one of the world's leading weapons inspectors, a quiet Ministry of Defence scientist who spent years checking Iraq's chemical and biological arsenal for the United Nations. Nobody understood that file better than he did.
In 2003 Tony Blair's (@InstituteGC) government published a dossier claiming Saddam Hussein could deploy chemical weapons within 45 minutes. That one line helped justify sending Britain to war, a war that ended up killing hundreds of thousands of people.
Kelly knew the intelligence behind that claim had been stretched. He said so privately, off the record, to BBC (@BBCNews) journalist Andrew Gilligan (@mragilligan). Nothing more than a conversation.
Somebody in government made sure his name reached the press anyway. Within days a respected scientist with decades of service was dragged in front of 2 parliamentary committees and questioned like a suspect on live television. His wife later said he came home a broken man.
On 17 July 2003 he left his house in Oxfordshire for a walk. He was 59. He never came home. His body was found the next morning in nearby woodland, a knife beside him and a shallow cut to his wrist.
Now here is where the story stops making sense.
Instead of letting the standard coroner's inquest run its course, Tony Blair's government suspended it before it properly began and replaced it with a private inquiry led by a judge the government appointed, Lord Hutton.
It was never resumed.
To this day Dr David Kelly is the only person in England and Wales in living memory to die in unexplained circumstances without a full coroner's inquest ever taking place.
Hutton concluded suicide within months. Officially, that was that.
Unofficially, a group of senior doctors reviewed the medical evidence and said the conclusion was unsafe. In letters to The Times (@thetimes) and The Guardian (@guardian) they explained that the artery involved is so small that cutting it rarely causes fatal blood loss in a healthy person, that the painkiller level found in his body was well under a lethal dose, and that the amount of blood at the scene was too small to account for the death recorded.
In 2011 those doctors formally asked the government to finally allow a proper inquest. Attorney General Dominic Grieve (@dominicgrieve_) reviewed it and refused. Hutton's inquiry was declared sufficient. The matter was closed, again, by the people who opened it.
Think about what actually happened here. A civil servant quietly raised concerns about the most consequential political deception in modern British history. He was exposed, humiliated and found dead days later, and the same government that needed answers made sure a proper, independent investigation never happened.
Tony Blair went on to become a Middle East peace envoy. He was later knighted.
Dr David Kelly got a rushed private inquiry, a sealed post mortem report kept from public view for years, and a grave that campaigners are still fighting over more than 2 decades on.
Nobody has ever been held accountable. Not for the dossier, not for the leak, not for what happened next.
This story deserves to be told every single year, not forgotten. If you think that too, share it.

Senator Lummis, you are leaving a lot out.
Why don't you tell Americans what you carved out for Coinbase and the Trump family?
Coinbase got a "rewards" loophole on stablecoin yield and staking pulled out of securities law. The Trump family got an ethics rule that skips sons, skips existing ventures, skips licensing deals, and expires the month he leaves office. $1.4 billion in crypto income last year, zero dollars touched. I'm sure that was an accident, right?
Tell them you sponsor a bill to make the Treasury buy a million Bitcoin while you personally hold Bitcoin. Tell them you disclosed a purchase late under the STOCK Act. Tell them your son-in-law runs a Bitcoin company and your former chief of staff runs a crypto super PAC you endorsed, funded 98 percent by money nobody can see.
Tell them who pays you. Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Chevron, Northrop Grumman, the consumer lender lobby, and max checks from Andreessen Horowitz, Kraken, Multicoin and Pantera. AIPAC endorsed you and cut a check too.
Tell them you called Tether a criminal on-ramp in 2023, then voted to confirm its banker as Commerce Secretary and wrote him a three-year pass into the US market. BTW, it's a bigger criminal on-ramp now, but you knew that.
Tell them Wyoming filed 830,000 anonymous LLCs last year, that you went to the Supreme Court to block the law that would name their owners, and that your bill leaves the offshore door open too.
You're retiring in January. That's the clock, not China. You have to get your payoff. Stop lying to us. I won't allow it.
The Clarity Act passed out of @BankingGOP Committee on a bipartisan 15 to 9 vote because my colleagues and I know that we must ensure the United States leads the way on digital asset regulation, and time is running out to secure America’s leadership. Every moment we wait to get this bill to the president’s desk is a moment we risk ceding this leadership to another country. We owe it to American consumers to make sure this industry operates under US regulations and builds on US soil.

Your glasses cost $5 to make. You paid $300. And one company you've never heard of is the reason why.
Luxottica owns Ray-Ban. They own Oakley. They own Persol. They own Oliver Peoples. They own Costa. They own Arnette. They make the glasses for Prada, Chanel, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Giorgio Armani, and Michael Kors. They own LensCrafters. They own Pearle Vision. They own Sunglass Hut. They own Target Optical. They own the online retailer Glasses.com. They own EyeMed the vision insurance provider that tells you where to buy your glasses. And they own the lab that makes your lenses.
One company controls the frames. The brands. The stores. The insurance. The lenses. And the price.
A guy spent 11 years working in the optical industry 4 in a lab making lenses, 3 managing a retail optical store, 4 consulting for independent eyewear brands trying to compete with Luxottica.
He told me: "The frame on your face cost between $2 and $5 to manufacture. The lenses cost $1.50 to $3. You paid $300–$700. That's not a markup. That's a scheme. And it only works because one corporation owns every step between the factory and your face and nobody knows it."
"There are 4 billion people on Earth who need vision correction. Most of them are paying a 1,000%–2,000% markup on a medical device they literally cannot live without because the entire industry from factory to face is controlled by one company pretending to be 50 different brands."
"The glasses on your face right now are almost certainly made in the same Italian factory as every 'luxury' brand on the wall at Sunglass Hut the store that Luxottica also owns."
Here are 10 things the glasses industry doesn't want you to know and exactly how to stop overpaying for a product that costs less than your morning coffee to make:

CORRECTION: Dale 2048 🇺🇸. I have young children whom I would like to see grow up before I get assassinated.
FWIW, throughout history, people who “red pill” the system tend to get assassinated: the Gracchi brothers, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Huey Long, JFK, MLK, etc.
THEY—the billionaires and trillionaires who have purchased controlling stakes in Congress, the White House, the Supreme (and lower) Court(s), AND THE MEDIA—have a deeply vested interest in preventing the following:
1. Campaign finance reform so that every citizen’s vote actually counts as one vote, rather than preserving the current system whereby the top 1% pay top dollar to rig election outcomes, legislation, and regulation on their behalf AT OUR CHILDREN’S EXPENSE.
2. A single flat tax that treats every dollar of realized income the same.
3. No tax loopholes to favor certain activities and interests, or to promote certain behaviors. As far as I’m concerned, the desire for people to procreate with desirable partners and take adequate care of their families—both while alive and posthumously—is genetic. You don’t need to corrupt the tax code to promote these outcomes. Human beings will do these things regardless of whether there are tax “incentives” for them—which we know largely favor the rich.
4. Trust-busting to reduce the power of monopolies, duopolies, and monopsonies over our economy and promote inclusive innovation.
5. Mandating that the Fed target stability in the US dollar vs. a basket of commodities or a neutral reserve asset like gold, OR removing the Fed’s “maximum employment” mandate—the mandate that causes it to consistently justify debasing our currency and perpetuating the historic Cantillon effect that is destroying our society—if returning to a harder currency regime is too painful.
These are the kinds of “radical” (read: common-sense) ideas that can get me killed if I’m not careful—hence waiting until 2048.
“The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

Jesus Christ and I love you and your children. Change your attitude towards our corrupt political system for them before it’s too late.
Reminder: The US has already fought a violent, bloody revolution and a violent, bloody civil war because The People have generally agreed with me and not with The Privileged Few. Unfortunately, history confirms that revolutions and wars are ALWAYS much worse for BOTH sides than everyone realizes at the outset.
I believe God pulled me up from the bottom 0.001% of the K-shaped US society to bring glory to Him by helping prevent this tragic outcome—or by helping our wonderful nation heal after it. I pray every day that I’ll be successful in either mission.
With love,

Exactly 9 months ago, the Great One laid out the typical playbook in textbook technical patterns and warned of the coming concerns.
The arrows showed the exact and scary-accurate projection.
Today I update what I call the scariest chart on planet Earth: the US 10-year yield ... the benchmark, the key to stabilisation, the universal tool used to set debt repayments and measure debt serviceability. It has broken out exactly as predicted many months ago.
This, my fellow traders, is no coincidence. It is the burden the Great One took on ... to predict the future for his fellow comrades. And today, with the exact movements of time and projection hitting to perfection, the globe faces its most critical challenge: the servicing of unfathomed, unmeasured debt levels that now face stress level obligation over the years ahead, all due to the reckless actions of central bankers.
The chickens have come home to roost… and the rooster is toey.

This is funny- Blackstone backed private credit data firm that’s merging with Bloomberg.
Sounds like a private credit is controlling the narrative before anything hits the news- thereby controlling the optics around the actual performance (or lack-thereof).
Reasons we don’t trust these crap.
