Really encouraged by all the fellow Christians here on X! 👇🏼

This is an account you should be following if you care about the Gospel going forth!
Six months ago, my @X account was hacked.
In an instant, years of conversations, connections, content, and nearly 20,000 followers were gone.
Today, I'm grateful to be back.
A huge thanks to @jbarzon7, @michaelo (Head of Safety at X), and everyone who prayed along the way.
I view social media as both a pulpit and a roundtable: a place to proclaim God's truth and discuss it with others.
I'll be sharing Biblical insights, evangelism strategies, leadership lessons, youth ministry ideas, and stories of God's work around the world.
As well as trying to be funny from time to time 😀.
Let's keep advancing the Gospel together.
See you around. 🚀✝️

Special thanks to @michaelo for helping me get my original X account back. And special thanks to my friend @JoshuaBarzon for helping connect me with the powers that be at X!
I'm back baby!

PRAYER REQUEST 🙏🙏🙏
This week I have the incredible opportunity to witness first hand and invest in what God is doing at @fm72waco ! What God has been doing at Baylor through this united prayer emphasis the last few years I can confidently label as revival (and I don’t say that lightly) the spiritual temperature across multiple churches and ministries is like nothing I have seen before. There is a genuine humility and hunger for God among the students and these leaders that is contagious. It’s not showy or forced but sincere and deep. This week, I have the privilege of speaking at the last session challenging around 3,000 students to take this fire and spread it to others through evangelism! Please cover that in prayer and join me in praying that God will continue to fan into flame the work He is doing on this campus. That God will spread the flame of revival to every campus and every nation through these students! May this truly be the revival generation 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏

Evangelicals are the only religious group where a majority do not agree with these 3 statements:
Abortion should be legal
Gay and lesbian people should be allowed to marry
Homosexuality should be accepted by society

So thankful for this ministry. Not only are they committed to evangelism, but they’re also deeply committed to the local church. So thankful for this crew.

The term "theological liberalism" is thrown around a lot.
When push comes to shove though, it still boils down to Richard Niebuhr's summation of what theological liberalism truly is: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross" (Kingdom of God in America, 193).
Liberal/progressive Christianity is more than that but it is no less than that, and it will always come down to it. Niebuhr's words 89 years ago are just as applicable in 1937 as they are today.

PRAYER REQUEST 🙏🙏🙏
Tonight marks the launch of 4 weeks of Beach Reach PCB as well as 2 weeks of @BeachReachSPI Last year thousands of college students participated in this mission trip / evangelism training conference with even more lost college students hearing the gospel and hundreds making professions of faith in Christ! 🤯 We use creative methods such as van rides and free pancakes to share Jesus with those partying on the beaches and bars. This event has proven to be an incredible catalyst for evangelistic momentum back on our campuses! I am speaking to the first group tonight from John 4. Please pray for tonight and for the next 4 weeks that we will see God move in ways beyond all we could ask or imagine! (Eph 3:20) 🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏

Major DIFFERENCES between Biblical Christianity & Islam.
GOD AND ALLAH ARE NOT THE SAME:
1. View of God:
Christianity: One God in Trinity - Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.
Islam: Strict monotheism (Tawhid) - God (Allah) is absolutely one; no divisions or partners.
2. Jesus:
Christianity: Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human; Savior of humanity.
Islam: Jesus (Isa) is a great prophet, born of the Virgin Mary, but not divine and not God’s son.
3. Crucifixion & Resurrection:
Christianity: Jesus was crucified, died, and rose from the dead for the forgiveness of sins.
Islam: Jesus was not crucified; God raised him up, and someone else was made to appear like him.
4. Salvation:
Christianity: Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works alone.
Islam: Salvation comes through submission to Allah, faith, and good deeds, with Allah’s mercy being decisive.
5. Sin:
Christianity: Humanity is affected by original sin; redemption is needed through Christ.
Islam: Humans are born sinless; sin is the result of forgetfulness or disobedience, not inherited guilt.
6. Scriptures:
Christianity: The Bible (Old Testament and New Testament).
Islam: The Qur’an as the final, perfect revelation; earlier scriptures (Torah, Psalms, Gospel) are respected but believed to be corrupted.
7. Final Authority:
Christianity: Authority rests in Scripture, interpreted through tradition, church teachings, or personal conscience (varies by denomination).
Islam: Authority comes from the Qur’an and Hadith (sayings/actions of Muhammad).
8. Muhammad:
Christianity: Muhammad is not recognized as a prophet.
Islam: Muhammad is the final prophet and the seal of prophecy.
9. God’s Relationship to Humanity:
Christianity: God is personal and relational, inviting believers into a father-child relationship.
Islam: God is merciful and just, but emphasizes servant-master relationship.
10. Afterlife:
Christianity: Heaven and Hell; eternal life depends on relationship with Christ.
Islam: Paradise (Jannah) and Hell (Jahannam); judgment based on faith and deeds.
11. Role of Law:
Christianity: Moral law fulfilled in Christ; emphasis on inner transformation.
Islam: Sharia law guides personal, social, and religious life (implementation varies widely).
Which is True:
Christianity is.
Islam is not.

If you’re frustrated with your progress, don’t confuse growth with earning. Works don’t save you—but grace will change you over time. Stay close to Jesus. Let love compel you.

In 2021, I first heard the term "Gospel Culture" from @RayOrtlundSays and @samallberry and it changed the trajectory of my ministry. I don't know if I would have given up and quit, but I certainly felt like it. Now, 5 years later I've had the privilege of watching God do miracle after miracle through our little church. I decided to write out our story. Coming soon: Help, I'm in over my head.

Salvation is found solely in Jesus, not in any good works or personal merit. Bragging rights in heaven belong only to Him, as He is the way, truth, and life. Adding anything to His sacrifice diminishes its power and misses the essence of grace. #Salvation #Faith #Grace

Legalism is sneaky. It doesn’t deny Jesus outright—it adds to Him. But the gospel stays simple: Jesus + nothing. Guard that truth.

If you’re in a difficult season today, remember this: God is not absent. He is active. He is shaping your character, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for greater impact.
Stay faithful. God is building something in you that comfort never could.
