Not going to make a prediction on number of seats or whatever. But I do think the polls are underestimating the Republican position. In my life I am surrounded by normiecon Boomer types. Saying they DO NOT LIKE the Ilhans, Hasans, and Abduls is an understatement. The motivation to vote against something is often as powerful as voting for something. A lot of people are going to be surprised on Tuesday.
Being persecuted by your government is grounds for asylum. Wanting a better economic situation isn’t. Guess which asylum claim this guy supports?
Losing an election is not grounds for asylum.
Yet the Trump Administration is giving Flávio Bolsonaro safe haven in the United States. In Brazil, he is under investigation for alleged corruption, money laundering and currency evasion, and was ordered to surrender his passports.
The Trump Administration owes Congress answers on its role helping Bolsonaro flee Brazil in contravention of Brazilian law.

The Left has spent decades systematically eliminating every moral rule and standard governing human sexuality. The only one they've left standing is "consent." The problem is that sex can be immoral and degrading even when it is consensual. So when a woman feels gross and sad and embarrassed after a sexual encounter -- even when it was fully consensual (as it was in the Cornell case) -- the only moral language she has available to describe her feelings is based around consent. Therefore any sex that makes her feel bad after the fact must have been ipso facto non-consensual. The concept of sex that was wrong yet consensual is foreign to her. She has been told, and has believed, that "wrong yet consensual" is a category that cannot exist.
Even so called conservative women can’t help but be feminist coded. “Jane Doe” did something shameful and rather than take accountability, she’s actively trying to ruin the lives of 7 men. She deserves nothing but contempt.
Re: the “Cornell 7”—There are two realities. Every decent person‘s heart should break for that girl. Because no woman who is healthy and feels cared for behaves like that. And we live in a time of wolves that will pick off weak prey.
But at the same time, we have to be honest that there is significant doubt about whether a crime was committed here. And we need to use incidents like this to explain why consent culture is so very insufficient as a sexual moral code.

It seems the more that comes to light, the clearer it becomes why prosecutors may have declined to bring charges.
These text messages obtained by ABC News don’t show someone discussing a rape. They show someone being beaten down by campus gossip, embarrassment, and the fallout from what happened.
Then, on November 8, she wrote, “I think I’m done talking to you. I know you lied.”
That same day, she made her complaint.
