This. Why village halls and community centres are gone, libraries shut, public toilets removed, public transport gutted and green spaces built over. Only things that charge us money are left. – at Wallasey, England

Late-stage capitalism figured out how to monetize loneliness.
Erase third spaces. Make going out too expensive. Work people too hard to keep up friendships.
Then sell the emptiness back as dating apps, delivery, streaming, and subscriptions.
Isolation as recurring revenue. Nasty work.
I don’t think Zach gets that the point isn’t that he’s being exposed as a white nationalist/fascist and that otherwise it’s been hidden. I think any doubt of that died a long time ago. It’s just reporting on his actions as one in a radicalization pipeline.

She knows. They all know. Not just about the evil being done but what they can and “can’t” say about it. It’s so nauseating and horrifying to see it laid bare so clearly.

Orange man actually is bad though and anyone who pretends to need more convincing of that isn't worth arguing with at this point.

Dude - be able to have a critical convo without doing “Orange Man Bad.” Accept that Aspiring Obama has morphed into Grouchy Old Man.

Twitter literally has become a site where agenda posting and ragebaiting are the algorithm meta, and the moment you don't jump on a hate bandwagon or even honestly enjoy anything, everyone gangs up on you and ironically calls you cattle.

Clavicular walked out of his 60 Minutes interview after one question about Andrew Tate.
He accused the reporter of making it political, then tried to hit back:
“Too bad I didn’t have time to look into who your wife cheated with.”
“I’m not married, Clav.”
Clavicular offered him looksmaxxing lessons, thanked him for his time, and walked off set.

"Let's all act like adults."
"You guys have made your point."
I don't think they have. I think they should get an amplification device and play this noise all day and night outside your homes until you truly understand what you have allowed to be inflicted on people.
Kentucky residents played a loud recording of the noise pollution from data centers to show its disruptive impact.
Within seconds, county officials grew irritated and told them to “act like adults” and turn it off.
The corrupt politicians who vote for and push these data centers onto our communities couldn’t handle the piercing sound for a few seconds, yet expect residents to live with it every day.
Welcome to the USA, where politicians prioritize the bottom line of the corporations and billionaires that fund their campaigns over the needs of our people and communities.
im really glad more people are waking up and questioning their own posting choices. to be quite honest with you it is probably a good idea to opt out of any/all videos depicting black people's suffering
Q: You and Trump have spent years blaming Joe Biden for inflation and a big reason why prices exploded is Washington flooded the economy with stimulus money. Now, the president is promising everybody a check for $5,000 if Republicans win. How is this different from what Biden did?

the bathtub scene is literally abt denji realising intimacy doesn’t have to be sexual to be meaningful, that he wants companionship just as much as physical affection. power being referred as his sister only reinforcing the platonic nature of their bond

My favorite part of Trump rallies is when someone calls him a pedophile and everyone chants “USA! USA!” afterward.

HOLY SHIT ITS ACTUALLY HAPPENING⁉️⁉️⁉️
🚨 US LAWMAKERS ARE NOW PREPARING FOR THE AI BUBBLE TO BURST.
House Democrats have introduced a resolution opposing government bailouts for AI companies if the industry crashes.
Instead of rescuing them with taxpayer money, lawmakers want failed AI companies to go through normal bankruptcy.
And the timing is extremely concerning.
Some of the world's biggest tech companies are investing billions into AI startups that spend heavily on their products.
• Nvidia invests in CoreWeave, which buys Nvidia chips.
• Microsoft invests in OpenAI, which spends billions on Microsoft's cloud services.
• Amazon invests in Anthropic, which uses Amazon's cloud infrastructure.
Billions are moving between companies that are becoming increasingly dependent on each other's spending.
And lawmakers are raising concerns about the growing use of borrowed money by Big Tech and Wall Street to finance the AI boom.
The resolution is not law, but it shows that some lawmakers are already worried about what happens if the industry collapses.
If AI startups run out of funding, they could be forced to slash spending or declare bankruptcy, leaving their investors and suppliers facing massive losses.
And without government bailouts, a major failure could spread across chipmakers, cloud providers, banks and the broader stock market.
The biggest risk is that one major AI bankruptcy could trigger losses across an entire industry worth trillions.
