Trying to distract myself from all the anxiety about the midterms tomorrow(!), so hey, nice to see The Vampire Lestat listed as one of the 10 best streaming shows of the year here (along with Widow's Bay, Industry, Margo's Got Money Troubles, etc.

The Vampire Lestat is cited in an article about how vampires are very popular right now (including this "rockstar season") so people are... getting permanent vampire teeth?
I learned that the quote isn't actually from the historical Thomas Aquinas: it's from a poem, "We Are Fields Before Each Other", written from Thomas Aquinas's perspective by a contemporary poet, Daniel Ladinsky (who, kind of hilariously, is from St. Louis). And the quote
Someone (whose analyses I always love) pointed out that Lestat is on his stomach here just as he is with Magnus (and thinking about it, I think those are the only two times we see him in that position), and now I'm just staring into nothingness (or was until I started typing).
