The Vampire Lestat may be taking on the Grammys

Incredible but not impossible: the fictional rock band The Vampire Lestat could be winning a Grammy Award… or four. Let that sink in.  You read that correctly:

I'm rewatching The Vampire Lestat and yeah... that shit was off the rails (non derogatory). They really leaned into this being the third season 3; the Let's Go Crazy season, as I like to call it.

I didn't include The Vampire Lestat in the piece because it doesn't quite have the same format-breaking approach, but it was on my mind when I was writing this too! girlculture.substack.com/p/t…

The theater training to make a different acting choice on every “stay” is very satisfying to me.

The Vampire Lestat — The Failures album is currently in Top 50 albums on USA iTunes! Ranking at #45 — up 34 spots!! 📈 Considering it’s been out for two weeks already, seems excellent — people are still buying the album on iTunes 😄

// Post on the IWTV subreddit asking who’d play Lestat and Louis in a sapphic version of the show. Top answer: “Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson.” Like. Where’s the lie?

Hands up if you’re fallen down this vampire hole? I’ve loved the show since it first aired, but The Vampire Lestat has taken the story to a whole different level. The music, the acting, the whole experience is just sublime!

TVL🧵 Now that nda is up...last summer, I had the honour of being commissioned by the lovely Jacob Anderson (@jacobanderson) and Sam Reid for their season 3 wrap gifts to cast and crew! The request was Louis and Lestat, back to back, resting in their coffin together. #iwtv #tvl
