Hot take: Millennials are the California of generations. Always being talked about but literally giving no fucks about those doing the talking and lb for lb the best there is across pretty much every measurable metric that matters.

A note on the @GovTimWalz stuff. I know @elonmusk is a “bestie” and all that, but the comments by @Jason @chamath and @cyantist about Walz being low brow, disrespectful, anti-American, or pandering to his base, etc is laughable. You have all seen what elon is saying and doing with a much larger reach than walz. It’s far more damnjng and the reason not only walz, the American people, and the world by and large agree with what walz is saying. Entire countries are fed up with musk and what he’s been doing. Far more are fed up with him then support him here and abroad and the world is currently cheering for his downfall, which should be expected given his actions. It’s not the hard workers, the car buyers, etc that Walz and the world are cheering to fail it’s him, the key man. We all want and NEED his lies to stop, his shitty behavior, asinine tweets, and more to end and if that means Tesla dies so be it. It’s not all bad though, @Tesla has a toxic key man problem, elon should simply resign and I’m sure that would help across the board. Last I checked many of the employees and entire factories would like to distance themselves. Lastly, the episode last week was great one, renewed my faith in the ability for you all to still be intellectually honest. This week had its moments too, but the intellectual dishonesty and fealty to this administration is still rearing its ugly head far often for you to be taken seriously right now. But that’s pretty much the reality for anything to do with elon, trump, or maga these days. Sucks that the pod like the tesla stock is on a downswing with regards to faith and confidence except to the extreme right base to which you are pandering. (Or so it seems)

It’s not often I disagree with @friedberg , but during the most recent episode of @theallinpod at approx 44:50 he makes a claim about moderate democrats that I disagree with. In my experience the moderate part of the Democrats has beliefs, but they’re simple, not polarizing, and what most Americans want/need. Unfortunately voices like @deanbphillips get drowned out. The far left and MAGA sensationalism, newspeak, and conspiracy theories are much louder than practicality, equality, intelligence, common sense, and dignity. It’s been the same stuff for years. Blue collar workers, pay your fair share in taxes, balance the budget, etc. Clinton, Obama, and Biden have stood in business and fought off different levels of radical left leaning politics as has the Republican Party. The only difference is the right has been over taken by the radicals while the left is currently being rendered silent.
