Idk i just feel like when ao3 is back up I need everybody to be heaps more graceful towards fic writers because if two weeks without their works is painful then maybe we shouldn't be discoursing weekly about how much you think they suck at writing.

ao3 going down for a month is an awfully apt conclusion to the past two weeks of people acting weird towards fic writers

lol I was visiting my English friend who was living in Japan, and we were at a museum in Fukuoka and the guide asked where I was from and I said "nyuujiirando" and my friend, aghast, says that's not how you say that and the guide immediately says in delight "NYUUJIIRANDO!!"

The irony of the fanfic writer discourse, btw, is that I’m a professional editor. I spend my life editing and cutting and giving feedback. I am Actually qualified with this skill and yet I have never, never given unsolicited feedback, advice or criticism to another fanfic writer.

I do have all my completed TereDio fics available for download as a back up for when AO3 is down.

My ongoing interconnected arc of Final Fantasy XVI #teredio fics. Ratings vary. Includes canon typical violence, religious imagery, and general weirdness. An adult fairy tale of love and loss with a hopeful ending. Each fic is tagged accordingly.

Hey I'm sorry to let you know this but I think your marketing guy is color blind, that's very clearly red. It's hard to imagine a red that's more red than this.

We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
#AO3 maintenance is in progress. We expect it to take at least 12 hours, but it may take longer. We will provide updates as necessary. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/incidents/g12j…
