I've been going to the Libertarian Party's "Freedom Unleashed" meetup for years. There was a great turnout this month! I'm proud that so many Libertarians support me because of our shared commitment to limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility.

This for every license.
The basic practice of law should not require going to law school. Anyone should be able to take the bar exam and paid apprenticeship-to-practice programs should be legal and offered by every law office.

As opposed to the higher level discourse put forth by the Harris campaign
RFK is like catnip to every stupid demographic within society: airhead hippies, rap fans, MAGAs, celebrity obsessed tabloid readers, antivaxxers. You name it. His presence in American life represents the stupidity singularity.

You can find exactly which refugee resettlement orgs are operating in your city with the link below. The Office of Refugee Resettlement is responsible for awarding grant money to NGOs that resettle refugees in cities around the country. (Wyoming is the only state with none.)

Listening to the Tucker/@martyrmade interview - fascinating. How are the British feeling about his summary of their situation??? Anyone seen responses?

This is the kind of thing where you can have a causation confusion. Perhaps people are holding more cash because they feel the uncertainty? Or they had to liquidate assets? Who knows?

Before you begin to discuss whether the ends justify the means, you need to establish that the means are going to ACHIEVE the ends at all.

Something has been bothering me with all of this "crackdown on fringe right podcasters two months before the election" stuff. I mean, surely it's not that ppl who followed Lauren Chen might now vote for Kamala, because they don't know LC's takes in late October. But what COULD make sense is if there's a chilling effect on "don't put out any election disinfo, or you lose your channel" so that when some "surprise" hits in October that affects the election protocol, the dissident right can't organize and push back against it.

In one of the most fascinating podcasts I’ve ever listened to, the members of NPR’s This American Life got their testosterone levels tested. All of the males had very low testosterone; some low enough doctors would recommend medication. And a trans guest talks about how taking testosterone made them suddenly interested in science.

In a 5-2 ruling, the court’s majority agreed with lawyers representing the state Democratic Party that the minor party’s petition contained the wrong affidavit language, invalidating the signatures gathered to land on the ballot. @eric_neugeboren reports: thenevadaindependent.com/art…

When SSRIs came out, the FDA was deluged with reports of suicide, homicide and mass shootings caused by those "antidepressants." Lawsuits then revealed the industry knew that risk, but, just like now, the FDA hid it from the public. This FDA 1991 hearing will blow you mind. A🧵

So, this is just terrible customer service & everybody is rejoicing that this customer got “put in his place”. This kind of shit is how you know airlines are over regulated. Socialist mindset all around.

ive drifted to this stance tbh i dont even think you need a coordinated conspiracy although at this point theres obviously a concerted effort to block any attempt to increase security this doesnt necessarily imply its getting systematically exploited but honestly it prolly is
The institutional stance on election fraud says the US: - has the highest-stakes election in the world - is basically the only democratic country in the world that doesn't make you show an ID to vote - Miraculously has zero voter fraud That sounds totally retarded man It is extremely reasonable for someone to learn all that and just go "wow, my guy probably lost cuz they rigged it then!" With nothing to suggest fraud whatsoever, the default position one should have on a high-stakes election that fails to meet global baseline security standards is: "It's probably rigged" Even if it's somehow true and there's miraculously zero fraud, it's such an optics disaster it should be changed just to prevent US elections from looking like a joke. You cannot LARP as leader of the free world while failing to meet the election security standards of the third world The fact anyone gets away with defending the lack of US voter ID laws is INSANE They only got away with it bc half the country pretends to think their argument makes sense cuz they know the fraud helps their guy and they got that half to call the other half racist if they disagree (Which is ALSO INSANE) This is like marrying a girl from tinder without meeting up first to make sure she looks cute. THE GOVERNMENT IS CATFISHING YOU THIS IS A SCAM

“ Family is the last bulwark against the total state, and if you give up your family to serve the state, you’ve already lost.” Great way to put it.
As much as I'd like to see the Harris/Walz campaign undermined, this sort of thing is too corrosive on a level deeper than politics. It's just poison. Betraying your own blood is just about the most dishonorable thing you can do, and doing it publicly more so. It’s tempting to use every weapon at your disposal but this is a moral stain that can’t be scrubbed off when the election’s over. It’s bad for your soul as an individual, as a family, as a country. Family is the last bulwark against the total state, and if you give up your family to serve the state, you’ve already lost.

They live in a perpetual now, with no sense of second order consequences.
Just one year of a 2% tax on billionaires would cover ending homelessness and hunger, providing tuition-free public college, universal childcare, and replacing all of the lead pipes in the U.S. — and it wouldn't affect how billionaires live their lives at all.
