"Win or lose...cities will burn." Incredible closing message
If, God forbid, Abdul loses, this will be a watershed moment in Democratic politics. The fire will rise. It's over. People will be radicalized against corporate, pro-Israel Dems. There will be a reckoning. If, when, he wins, it will be a watershed moment. And that reckoning will still come.

Man...we are JUST NOW picking up the pieces from the last World War Tucker and his gang predicted. WWIV is going to be even wilder.
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

Arab party king makers? Gee...that doesn't sound very apartheidy.
With 40% of the vote counted in Israel, neither side has a clear and commanding lead, presaging weeks of gridlock, negotiations and uncertainty as parties try to form a governing coalition. Possible kingmakers: the Arab parties. Follow the latest here: nytimes.com/live/2026/10/28/…

This just proves what a slippery slope Replacement Theology can be. Now they're replacing the word replacement for another word. 😆
I've been listening to some dispensational podcasts as of late, and I keep bumping up against a problem. 🚦 According to a lot of dispensationalists, an interpreter holds to dispensationalism or "replacement theology." I'm a covenant theologian but I don't hold to replacement theology. The church doesn't replace Israel. The church is the CONTINUATION of true Israel in Christ. NT believers are joined to OT believers as the covenant community. That's not replacement.

Jewish safety?
Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it. Get involved and help at abdulforsenate.com/vote go.abdulforsenate.com We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too. We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries. That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next. Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells. Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it. #abdulelsayed #democracy #jewish #midterms

The predicted surge in births in Gaza continues. According to Gaza Ministry of Health, there were 6,177 births in August and about 6,400 births in September. As usual, the numbers are revised up from the Ministry of Interior preliminary numbers (5,493 / 5,815 for Aug/Sep). July numbers also appear to have been revised up to 5,690. The numbers align very well with the previously predicted number of births from the number of miscarriages 6 months prior, as discussed in the linked posts, confirming again that the apparently high number of miscarriages during spring was due to a very high number of new pregnancies. Even assuming 2025-levels of non-war deaths, 6,400 births in September annualized is well over 3% natural population growth. This means Gaza is currently among the nations/subnational areas with the highest population growths in the world. The birth numbers will likely be even higher in the next months. teapawt.org/EirikSchr/status/20966…
Official numbers now confirm the predicted surge in births in Gaza. Gaza Ministry of Health reports 5,119 births in July. Preliminary number for August (published by Ministry of Interior) is 5,493 births. The MoI number is always revised upwards by 8-20%, so August number will certainly increase to 6,000-6,500. These numbers align very well with the simple predictions in the linked post, which is just 10.4 times the number of miscarriages 6 months prior, see figure. August number is prelim MoI number increased by 13% (the mean difference between prelim MoI number and final MoH number). It is now indisputably proven that the supposedly high miscarriage rate during the spring is simply due to a surge of new pregnancies after the ceasefire and a failure to take into account the time lag between miscarriages and births. The number of births in Gaza is already above the peacetime normal (fewer than 5,000 births/month), and will increase even further this autumn. MoH also reports 931 miscarriages in July, suggesting births may even approach 10,000/month in January - twice the peacetime normal. teapawt.org/EirikSchr/status/20744…

The Lancet didn't count 186,000 bodies. It published a letter projecting what the death toll "could" someday be; hedged, conditional, speculative. The hedging didn't survive contact with the headlines. Al Jazeera, The Guardian, and a UN Special Rapporteur were just a few of those who reported it as an estimate of dead, not a hypothetical. That's the actual story here: prestigious journals know what their name does to a number. A "not implausible" projection in the Correspondence section reads, to everyone downstream, like clinical fact. Projection → headline → statistic → weapon. The correction never catches up. On Oct. 7, @SkyNews broadcast a segment titled: ‘Why the Oct. 7 attacks will change lives for generations,” in which Adam Parsons gave just one minute of its 3:43 running time to the Israeli victims of Hamas’ attacks before moving swiftly to Gaza. This is a broadcaster who has repeatedly spread falsehoods, and which entrenches its focus on Palestinian civilian suffering all year round. It is therefore suspect that on the third anniversary of the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, the only space dedicated to Israeli victims was inverted and co-opted by “the other side” narratives. camera-uk.org/2026/10/19/alw…

Her father was Siad Barre regime colonel. No matter how many times Snopes calls it a "conspiracy theory," it is, and remains, a fact. This would have disqualified him for entry to the US under the Somali refugee program.
The judge who signed the warrant to raid Rep. Ilhan Omar's DC home is a Hillary Clinton donor who clerked for an Obama appointee. That fact alone demolishes the left's claim that this is some Trump-orchestrated political hit job. Mike Davis argues the opposite is true: the evidence against Omar must be so overwhelming that even a judge with deep leftist ties couldn't refuse to sign off. The Fourth Amendment requires probable cause of at least one federal crime inside that home, and U.S. Magistrate Judge Matthew Sharbaugh — appointed by a bench dominated by Obama and Biden picks — found it was there. Omar's allies in Congress, including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamie Raskin, and Rashida Tlaib, cried political revenge. But Davis says the simplest explanation is the most damning one for Democrats: a federal indictment may be coming before Christmas, and the evidence trail appears to reach well beyond Omar alone.
