Lula has just given Flávio Bolsonaro, hiding in Miami, a lesson in reality. He didn't just mock him. He exposed the exact mechanics of how the empire treats its foreign allies. Lula said: “Flávio Bolsonaro is bad luck. He made Trump lose. He arrived in the United States, and Trump lost. He went there looking for protection. You'll see what protection you'll get. You'll have to return to Brazil to face the legal cases against you.” This isn't just a great political roast. It is a masterclass in geopolitical realism. The global far-right loves to tell itself a fairy tale. They think Washington protects them out of ideological brotherhood. They think the US empire cares about their "conservative values." But the US policy is entirely transactional. It only harbors corrupt, fleeing oligarchs as long as they are useful tools to destabilize the Global South. The second they lose an election, lose their political leverage, or become a diplomatic headache, the empire drops them. Flávio fled to Florida thinking Trump’s faction would shield him forever. But we just watched the Democrats sweep the US midterms. The political winds in Washington shifted overnight. The people who were supposed to protect him just lost their power. The Bolsonaro family thought they were playing 4D geopolitical chess. In reality, they were just disposable chips on the empire's ledger. They were the classic entreguistas—willing to sell Brazil's sovereignty for a green card. But when a chip runs out of value, it gets swept off the table.

Well it’s clear now @YvetteCooperMP is threatening to resign if @andyburnham scraps the Palestine Action fiasco which is costing the UK a fortune, draining the already buggered judicial system & staving off class actions from citizens like me who have gone through hell & humiliation for being labelled terrorists. wtf has she got on Burnham to make him so scared?

Lawyers for the UK government today claimed in the Supreme Court that all these pensioners and priests getting arrested was itself an act of terrorism: as it was Palestine Action seeking to overwhelm the justice system. They really did say that!

Chuck “We’ll see” Schumer is why Angie Nixon lost by less than 3 points. Hakeem Jeffries only endorsed Zohran Mamdani when forced to. Voters delivered the blue wave. They didn’t. NEW LEADERSHIP. NOW. NOT NEGOTIABLE.

It's amazing that no one has been arrested for setting up a contract killing on camera.
‼️Turning Point UK CEO Caught On Camera Brokering Paid Attacks And Killings Through A UVF-Linked Hitman😱 An Al Jazeera undercover investigation has exposed Turning Point UK CEO Jack Ross introducing reporters to Allan Nesbitt, a convicted criminal with alleged ties to the Ulster Volunteer Force, a proscribed paramilitary group. Ross is filmed discussing a menu of paid violence, from beatings and face-cutting to stabbings, shootings, and killings, while also paying Nesbitt thousands to stage a fake pro-Zimbabwe rally. In public, Ross condemns political violence. In private, he appears comfortable arranging it through a man who showed weapons on a call and claimed past experience with such work. The Conservative Party has suspended Ross’s membership, and Scottish police are reviewing the footage for possible criminality. Turning Point UK is the British offshoot of Turning Point USA, the organization founded by Charlie Kirk. The investigation shows how casually its leadership treated the idea of hiring paramilitary-linked contacts for violence against rivals. This comes as questions continue about Turning Point USA’s own conduct, its finances, and the circumstances surrounding Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Erika Kirk and the American organization have not yet addressed the UK findings publicly. How will Turning Point USA try to separate itself from this? Will they claim the UK group is fully independent, or will they stay silent while police examine whether their overseas CEO was negotiating contract violence? The public statements against violence do not match the private recordings. Shoutout to @Its_KK_1 for sending me this story. FOLLOW her.

Andy Burnham has suddenly discovered that war with Iran and cosying up to Israel are unpopular only AFTER Trump gets hammered electorally. Only yesterday, his party refused to work with the Greens over their position on Israel and Zionism. Funny how principles arrive when the votes tell you you're next, mate.

Zack Polanski speaks without notes in a rational but passionate repudiation of the insults aimed at him by the pro-Israel mob. This is an example of powerful oratory that will be completely ignored by the BBC, Sky etc so lets retweet to make sure it gets maximum coverage here.

Unbelievable. Police arrested 30 ppl on terrorism charges for signs quoting tweets from @SarahHelm1, wife of Britain’s National Security Adviser, whose own posts were not found to break any laws. Our entire juridical system, destroyed by Labour to protect Israel’s genocide.
BREAKING: Around 30 peaceful protesters have been arrested outside the Supreme Court for holding signs objecting to the ban on Palestine Action - using the words of a recent post by Sarah Helm, wife of the govt’s national security advisor (which police determined “did not meet the criminal threshold”)

This Zionist Government is acting in the same way Third Columnist supported Hitler in WW2 treating its own people with conscience in the same way! Absolutely disgraceful!
Today’s Supreme Court hearing on Palestine Action is a huge moment for free speech and the right to protest in this country. The government has debased itself by upholding this absurd and draconian ban. Opposing genocide is not a crime. De-proscribe Palestine Action now.

"You don’t have to be a genius, really, to work out what’s going on here.” On Wednesday, the last possible legal challenge on British soil of Palestine Action’s proscription began at the supreme court. Dozens of protesters were arrested for holding signs quoting the author Sarah Helm, wife of the prime minister’s national security advisor Jonathan Powell. That’s despite the fact that the Met police chose not to take action against Helm, exposing a glaring double standard. Novara Media’s @harriepw reports from London.

This. It is abundantly clear, so consistently does it occur, that presenters are responding to a directive on how to respond to accusations of genocide and even war crimes on the part of Israel . It is a prime example of holding Israel to a different standard when it comes to interpretation of " impartiality". Ask yourself this. Can you imagine.... let alone , have you ever heard,.... a BBC journalist responding to someone referencing Russias war crimes and illegaloccupation if Ukraine by saying.... "of course Russia denies it is acting illegally"?
The BBC consistently interrupts every guest that criticises Israel with a defence on their behalf: “Israel would say [insert genocide justification here]” They say they do this for “transparency” and “due impartiality”. If they were honest about that, they would also add the other things Israel themselves have said. Allow us to demonstrate: 1. “Israel would say [genocide justification] although Isaac Herzog, Israel’s President did say on 12 October 2023 ‘It is an entire nation out there that is responsible’” 2. “Israel would say [genocide justification]. Netanyahu did also say in a letter to his soldiers on November 2023 that Gaza is a ‘holy war of total annihilation’” 3. “Israel would say [genocide justification]. On 9 October 2023, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant also said ‘We are fighting against human animals.’” 4. “Israel Katz, the Energy Minister on 13 October 2023, did say that Gaza's civilians would ‘not receive a drop of water or a single battery until they leave the world.’” 5. “Bezalel Smotrich, Finance Minister in August 2024 said starving two million people “might be just and moral until they return the hostages.’” The BBC has consistently hidden behind “transparency” and “due impartiality” to defend Israel at every opportunity. But their cherry-picking of what they say after “Israel says”, is telling of just how opaque and partial they are. “Israel says” is not inherently bad, if one actually says what Israel says.

Amazing interview with arrested Palestine Action supporter Margaret Owen, an extraordinary woman who has been fighting human rights injustices all her life (and was a life-long friend of my late mother).
"Lots of us are not so sure about how independent even the Supreme Court would be." A 94-year-old human rights barrister tells @ShehabKhan she fears Britain has lost its reputation for independent justice. Watch the full interview 👇
