El otro día @eldiarioes publicó un artículo sobre las apuestas sobre los ensayos clínicos (eldiario.es/sociedad/mercado…) y cómo eso podía afectar al mercado farmacéutico. En dicho artículo yo comenté que es un nuevo paso en la financiarización de la idnustria farmacéutica, donde el negocio deja de depender del acceso de los medicamentos (vía venta) y pasa a depender del juego de subidas y bajadas en bolsa en función de resultados de ensayos clínicos.
Esta semana hemos tenido este otro ejemplo con la denominada "vacuna contra el melanoma" (creo que es problemático asumir la denominación vacuna sin hacer algunas advertencias previas, he de decir).
Esto es de las mayores amenazas que puede haber sobre el desarrollo de medicamentos, y es una desvinculación atroz del valor bursátil y el valor terapéutico (con acceso real) para la gente.
