How fantastic to see democracy alive in Serbia!
The Serbian Student List victory in Sunday’s snap election quickly saw 12-year strongman, pro-Russian nationalist Aleksandar Vučić concede.
This comes after he allowed convicted genocidal war criminal Ratko Mladić a hero’s funeral last month.
Like in 2000 when Serbian student protest movement Otpor defeated wartime leader Slobodan Milošević, young people have come out again to determine their future. And in Brazil too.
In both countries, the defeated candidates were Trump favourites.

Sankcije rusiji ne smeju da se uvedu samo zbog toga što je ovo jedino mesto u Evropi odakle Rusija obavlja svoje operacije protiv EU. Više od polovine Rusa ovde nije pobeglo od Putina već odavde radi za Putina.
A vama prodaju kako bi sankcije pogodile običan narod...

The main opposition force in Serbia, the student movement, has come out publicly against sanctioning Russia. As I've consistently written on the matter, there will be no fundamental change in Serbian foreign policy, and thus its future, whether Vučić wins or loses. National-populism will remain the dominant ideology. The policy of neutrality towards the protest movement in Serbia exercised by Brussels has been proven correct.

Република Србија, наставиће да се придржава доследног става да увођење санкција било којој држави, ентитету или појединцу представља одраз политичког става, који није показатељ уверења да санкционе мере доприносе решавању политичких и безбедносних изазова, посебно имајући у виду сопствено историјско искуство и директнe импликацијe поменутих мера на локално становништво.
Република Србија ће задржати принципијално становиште о неувођењу рестриктивних мера према Руској Федерацији.
Него, сад ми нешто Вас да питамо.
1. Када ће одговорни за пад надстрешнице бити санкционисани?
2. Када ћемо добити 2 минута снимка са наплатне рампе Дољевац?
3. Ко је крив за (не)давање Газивода?
4. Зашто кандидати са листе чији сте Ви носилац нападају и туку грађане?
За ова питања није потребна дебата, већ конкретни одговори.

Nakon današnjeg saopštenja Studenata u blokadi (SuB) ("Ne sankcije Rusiji"), jasno je da po ključnim pitanjima (Kosovo, Rusija) nema razlike između njih i SNS. Po pitanju EU su verovatno iznutra pocepani na dvoje, što ih u praksi čini - opet - ne bitno različitima od radikala.
Ono što ostaje kao razlika je estetska razlika. SuB definitivno izgledaju bolje.
Naravno, SuB kažu i 'nećemo biti korumpirani i nećemo ograničavati lične slobode'. Ali, to se ne može znati dok ne dođu na vlast i suoče se sa iskušenjima (easy money) koja uz to idu. Pri tome, opredeljenja vezana za Kosovo i Rusiju, sklonost mitomanskom patetičnom govoru, i manijakalno optuživanje opozicije kao "Vučićeve opozicije", nagoveštavaju da ni po pitanju korupcije i (ne)tolerancije nema garancije boljitka.
