The last remaining ask from Dems on the crypto bill was this:
-Make the anti-corruption clause enforceable
You instead out in vague language that let the President continue with corruption, and it killed the bill.
(That and Coinbase’s antics)
But you know this.
There was such real progress on a real well structured bill - and you hung it all up for a corrupt tyrant whose political career was over anyway.

I've gotta say I am totally baffled by the White House suddenly trying to position Melania Trump of all people as though she's some sort of serious international diplomat when in reality she's a grifter enduring an unhappy marriage who obviously spends as little time around the president as possible

PRESS POOL UPDATE: CNN was scheduled for TV pool duty today, but the White House left CNN off the schedule last night. This is another escalation in Trump's disruption to the decades-long pool arrangement.
Here’s the context: In the wake of the court order halting Trump’s ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House grounds, the administration tried a new approach, preventing CNN from fulfilling its travel pool responsibilities by barring the network’s reporters from Air Force One.
This led the news outlets to seek further relief from the court last week. Yesterday the news outlets followed up and filed for a preliminary injunction, as MS NOW’s @falgallagher reported (link below). A hearing has been scheduled for December 2.
Today, Trump is not scheduled to travel anywhere, so there is no travel pool. The White House left CNN off the in-town pool rotation. At the moment, Trump isn’t scheduled to hold any open press events. But if he does, there won’t be pooled TV coverage.
>> Today’s print pooler, @svdate of HuffPost, wrote to colleagues just now, “Be advised that there is no TV pool today because it is CNN’s turn and the president is mad at them.”

As of now, Democrats look on track for about 260 U.S. House seats, give or take one or two depending on if mail ballots out west break a little differently than expected in a district or two. They will have the largest majority for either party in 36 years.

How absolutely hilarious. What is wrong with these guys?
Do they think we are going to just forget what they did?

Vanity Fair reported that an image posted by @TheFP's @Olivia_Reingold from an election night event in Michigan appears to be AI generated. Yes, SynthID shows that's the case, as I've replicated below. I've reached out to The Free Press and parent company Skydance for comment.
So when the dust settles in a few weeks, will the GOP learn anything from Tuesday's defeat? Like come 2028 will they go back to using dog whistles and racists statements, will they claim everything is fine under Trump, or will they actually put up policies and stand up to Trump?
