Another view of the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant. Another reminder of the accountability taxpayers deserve.
What began as a $700 million project has ballooned to $3.86 billion, leaving North Shore residents facing hundreds of dollars in additional annual costs.
Our local mayors have called for a provincial inquiry into what went wrong. Residents deserve to know how costs spiralled so far out of control and why stronger oversight wasn’t in place.
As your MLA in Victoria, I would push for a full, independent provincial inquiry into the project, demand greater transparency from Metro Vancouver, and advocate for reforms that give taxpayers stronger protection against future cost overruns.
North Shore families should not be left paying billions more without clear answers about how we got here.
It’s time for accountability.

Mail Thief George Chahal has a friend in the BC NDP, who just stole a conservative letter to a voter and replaced it with her own. Outrageous low-trust behavior.

Looks like the BC NDP is breaking election rules. Doing everything they can to steal a seat.
Going into nursing homes. Strick rules on that

We will cut provincial income taxes by $1,000 a year for every working British Columbian, and $2,000 for couples.

And he dared attack Jimmy Pattison and others to kick off his campaign? Staggering hypocrisy
Just now, David Eby confirms that he has his kids in $10/day taxpayer-subsidized daycare.
Approx. only 10% of BC daycare spots offer $10/day daycare. Most families who want in can't get a spot.
As Premier, Eby earns $227k/year. Eby's wife is a doctor. Their household income is likely well over half a million dollars per year.
We don't resent British Columbians who are successful (we want more people to succeed).
But where there are wait lists, surely a wealthy family like Eby's shouldn't be taking advantage of $10/day daycare. Think about a working single mother? David Eby deserves the spot more than her?

Fewer jobs, lower incomes, more crime, less access to healthcare, more taxes, bigger deficits. That's the NDP track record. Spend more, get less.

If you're a woman, a Canadian from a multicultural community, a young Canadian &/or a hardworking taxpayer just remember what the liberal establishment did to me .. @DhallaRuby & all my supporters across Canada.
We set out to make history with progressive policy ideas that were the need of the hour for our country instead the @liberal_party wanted the same old - Trudeau 2.0.
A rigged leadership race with 350,000 stolen & the same team as Trudeau for the past 10 years - can YOU really trust @liberal_party with 4 more years?
Read that again. Then make sure you make the right choice for change tomorrow.

I would almost certainly be dead if Canada had not become a place of refuge for me and my family. I love this country. For generations, Canada has been a place where you could come from anywhere in the world, work hard, and make a difference.
But the Canada that I love is on the verge of collapse. We are being divided. We are being told that our friends are all racists and bigots and that our ancestors and history are evil.
We are killing our small businesses, harming our future growth, and burdening future generations with an ungodly amount of debt that will for certain ensure that they will live a worse, less healthy, and more lonely life than our parents did.
Young Canadians can’t afford to buy homes and have kids. People go to sleep afraid of criminals. Gone are the days when we all used to leave our doors unlocked at night.
We have a choice to make. We can continue to watch our country decline or we can choose change. We can choose to build a future of hope.
I’m choosing hope. That’s why today, I voted for @PierrePoilievre.
If you are a young Canadian, I urge you to choose hope for your future. Elections matter. Let’s turn our country around.

This clip will likely go mostly unnoticed, but speaks to the false promise of a Carney government.
Carney is running against Trump's tariffs and has used the GM layoffs to build his case.
Premier Ford states quite clearly that the layoffs had nothing to do with tariffs.
