1000% mate well said couldn’t agree more at the end of the day rugby is only a sport there’s bigger worries that are more serious than ya team losing a game of rugby

Certainly not been overly positive I have to say! Surprised at Blease as I thought he was very organised but the last couple of signings don’t appear ambitious. We knew early how many were leaving and it smacks of 2016 preseason

As we're well aware with these bargain basement signings we're going to struggle next season. The lack of ambition yet again by the club is frightening.

I'm trying to be optimistic. Arthur has form for helping fringe & underperforming players to elevate their game. Hopefully, some/all of these (admittedly underwhelming) signings kick on.

It's certainly not been star-studded, that's for sure 😆
If anyone can get the best out of the new crop, it's Brad Arthur

The only i hang onto is that BA knows how to improve players and must see some potential in likes of Salabio and Greig.. however neither of these 2 can be an Oledzki replacement but I fear they may be! I really hope my worries are laid to rest 🤷🏻♂️

Hankinson, Jenkins, Connor were all ‘questionable’ signings. All played huge parts under Brad Arthur and come on leaps and bounds under his guidance. I won’t judge until we have seen what each signing is capable of under the right leadership

Feels like a 2023 level of recruiting - project fringe players galore. If they all pay off then I’ll happily admit to being wrong, but Walker and Gannon aside I’m incredibly underwhelmed (and I’d have preferred to have kept Smith over Walker)

Questions need to be asked of BA as well and to why he thinks some of these signings are quality players

The league isnt attractive enough for a big name, who represents value for money (Yet to be sold on DCE).
Transfers between SL clubs rarely happen, especially for big stars.

Could be a good signing. From what I remember of him at Parra he carries hard. Don't think he played big minutes though so impact prop before and after half time

I think that’s the wrong way to frame the question because it assumes the NRL’s current offer is the only alternative.
Without investment and meaningful reform, Super League could face significant financial challenges over the next decade. But accepting the current proposal doesn’t automatically guarantee a stronger competition either, particularly if it means surrendering control of governance and commercial rights without a clear long term business plan.
I’ve actually developed my own proposal based on NRL involvement, strategic investment, club incentives, expansion, player pathways and sustainable commercial growth.
The question shouldn’t be whether Super League accepts this deal or faces an uncertain future. It should be how we structure an agreement that makes Super League stronger, financially independent and commercially successful in ten years’ time.

Based on known details of the deal, feels like the game would be dependant on club owner funding in both scenarios.

Scrap IMG imo they cause more confusion than anything. Make it simple one up one down. The championship GF could be the most pointless game with nothing riding on it. Top 6 playoffs

Today is World Mental Health Day, please please please encourage someone to talk. It may change their lives for the better.....I know it did for me and many others. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean someone you know may be suffering.

I think I t’s time for the next cabs on the rank to step up. Presley Cassell, Lloyd, Edghill, Simpson, Ferguson and more.
