It would be good if muggers in DC were afraid enough of consequences that they didn't feel free to return to the scene of their crime and demand back the phone they dropped.

At least six of Abdul El-Sayed's co-signers on a 2012 letter backing the Muslim Brotherhood have donated more than $25,000 to his political campaigns
Another signer called Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who ousted the Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsi, a "dog of the Jews"

The casual admission that Democrats plan to just throw people in jail for supporting Trump.
On the Bulwak podcast, Kara Swisher says Elon might already be in jail under Kamala Harris, and "he knows what's coming for him."
Another one to put in the "what Democrats plan to do if they take power" file:
"If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him."
"So they're going to start investigating again. You think he's not on the list? He's at the top of that list."
"He has a very big sense of fate. And I think it's coming for him. And real hard."
They're all just saying this stuff out loud now. There are no secrets about what they want to do.

We keep being told we must surrender our decency to win and then we lament how indecent the country is becoming. Every candidate is a worse candidate, but from pastor to politician, we’re told we must hold our nose or else. Now, we’re to defend the Vivek ad or else. Nope.

please. stop. yes, the other campaign runs mean ads too. this wasn't a mean ad. This was about childhood sexual abuse. Republicans weaponized it. Be as disgusted with me as you want, if there are no lines in the sand, we don't deserve civilization. nationalreview.com/corner/wh…

NEW YORK TIMES now confirming my reporting from weeks ago that El-Sayed signed a letter in support of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012
(naturally not crediting the Free Beacon at all)
El-Sayed also refused to comment on letter to them!)

This is a level of incompetence that is genuinely staggering. I am being serious when I say it is hard to believe. It’s like they allowed a child to control the security for critical digital infrastructure

I like that the discourse has moved to the point where we don’t even have to discuss *why* someone would be in jail if there were a different president.
We just assert confidently that they would be.

Is a giant math equation conscious? Lol, no. Debate settled, we can cancel this event.
Jokes aside, if you are in DC, you should attend and watch @aaronsibarium defend what should be common sense.
Just before Halloween, we're teaming up with @AspenInstitute to host a debate on the haunted question of AI consciousness.
On the evening of 10/29 in DC, come see @hamandcheese and @aaronsibarium duke it out over whether there's really a ghost in the machine.

Get ready for World War P-Zombie! Next week I will be debating @hamandcheese on AI consciousness, moderated by @sckimbriel. We will fight about functionalism, quarrel over qualia, and serve problematically hard liquors to ensure that everyone has a phenomenal time.
