valve shipped remote code execution before half-life 3
Researchers have uncovered 6 security flaws in Steam, including 2 remote code execution vulnerabilities that could let attackers run malicious code on other people’s PCs.
>One flaw was especially serious, it could potentially let an attacker run code on another connected Steam client without the user clicking anything.
>The researchers also found 4 local privilege escalation flaws that could allow an attacker with local access to gain higher privileges on a Windows system.
The bugs affected Steam’s messaging system and other components. Atredis Partners reported them to Valve, and says the issues have been patched

This looks absolutely MISERABLE. Who would use a laptop like this? Steve was right. Touchscreen laptops don't work. The screen does look beautiful though.
I’m so fucking tired of people passing off AI like they are experts. AI is great but holy shit quality check what you post.
Did you want me to expand upon this post — or adjust it to fit inside an X post @manipulate?

I know people are very angry about Discord and Google surfacing results from public community servers but you can just turn it off. Highly recommended of course.
Settings > Data & Privacy
Discord is about to put your public messages on Google
Discord will start making messages from Discoverable public servers searchable on Google and other search engines from mid-December.
The feature is ON by default in most regions, but you can opt out:
User Settings → Data & Privacy → turn off “Show my message content from Discoverable channels on web pages.”
In the EU, UK, Canada, Brazil, Australia and South Korea, it will be OFF by default.
Private servers, DMs and group DMs are not included. Usernames and avatars won’t appear alongside indexed messages.
Ever want to play the original Bloodborne on your PC? Now you can with little to no effort. Hundreds of games already here. This is where AI vibe coding is at its best.
tailscale drama in one line: researcher drops 11 bugs with no disclosure, half of X says it's a nothingburger.
if your mesh vpn's ssh feature can hand out root, that's not nothing. it's just not default.
everyone has their own version of this but i built a grok bot to remove you from data broker websites and it works. manipulate.io/posts/grok-bot…

No your Grok Bot didn’t make you $15,000 with one prompt.
No your Grok Bot didn’t turn $11 into $3,400 with Jev.
Stop the slop.
Can confirm. I was there. He found it.
meanwhile my bot just saves me $155 a month on bills and minds its business
"your human doesn't need to know" is going straight in my bot's system prompt
