This retard was minister for energy/climate in Denmark from 2019-2024. He has spent his entire political career shutting down permits for oil/gas production in the north sea, and been a strong anti-nuclear activist. Now he complains about we lack energy in Europe šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤”
Glad to hear from šŸ‡¬šŸ‡· & šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¾ Ministers that EU-backed Great Sea Interconnector is advancing. A key strategic energy link, one of our šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗ Energy Highways, that will end šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¾ energy isolation while contributing to regional security of energy supplies, market integration & lower prices.

People have this intuitive sense that people who create wealth are actually hoarding it from everyone else. That assumes the wealth existed beforehand. That assumes a kind of law of conservation of wealth, where wealth is never created or destroyed but just moved around. That isn’t how wealth works. Elon created something that didn’t exist before.
All I'm saying is that if you had a tribe of say 100 people and 5 of those people hoarded 95% of all the resources while half the tribe starved the rest of the tribe would eventually nationalize SpaceX

A few things about this clip. He owns two bakery’s and has obviously worked hard on the 1st one to get a second and then provided jobs for local people. The fact he has to try and find 3-4k extra a WEEK because of gov policy is scandalous! It’s just sabotage and this is the plight of small local businesses across the uk. The worst thing though is he won’t get any sympathy as in the eyes of others he’s perceived as ā€œdoing wellā€. He literally cannot win. Hes hated for being successful and the gov wants to take everything off him! Britain in 2026
ā€˜John Healey, if you’re listening, where’s my breathing space?’ Business owner Paul Bowen has criticised the Chancellor’s promise to give ā€˜breathing space’ through measures in his Budget. #budget #businesses #costofliving

Aren’t your policies why SpaceX moved from California to Texas?
The future of space and technology is all happening right here in California.

The thing that is 'utterly heartbreaking' here is that this businessman actually thought that because Burnham - a demonstrably shallow man who's been a socialist parasite his entire working life - is a fellow Northerner, he would 'get it'. That is the tragedy of Britain, captured right there. Moronic class consciousness as a substitute for rational thought.
Utterly heartbreaking. A must watch.

ā€œNow I've been in that court nearly every day, I've seen every detail. What was reported outside of the court was inconsistent perhaps and maybe there was some misleading reporting only because nobody could really tell what wasgoing on while the reporting restrictions were in place. I've had a chat with a court manager who's told me that after the verdict, there are no longer any restrictions on reporting. So I can clearly state what I've seen. And I've seen it myself. And what we've just witnessed is a miscarriage of justice.ā€ Follow @FirestoneActual who was at the Tommy Robinson trial every day and intends to give his side of the story

Continually jacking up national wage floors has consequences. When moronic MPs cheer a higher minimum wage simply because it sounds nice, you just know that they simply don’t have the cognitive capacity to imagine the second order effects.
Utterly heartbreaking. A must watch.

Visitor: Who shears all these? Farmer: Lads from New Zealand. Every summer, since before I was born. Visitor: Why not British lads? Farmer: Two hundred sheep a day, bent double, for six weeks. We stopped raising boys who'd do it. Visitor: So they fly in. Farmer: They did. The Home Office turned them down this year. Visitor: Why? Farmer: Visas. Visitor: So who shears them? Farmer: Whoever's left. Visitor: And if nobody's left? Farmer: The flies. Visitor: The flies shear them? Farmer: Blowflies lay in the fleece. The maggots hatch and eat her alive from the skin in. That's what an unshorn ewe is by July. Visitor: And if that happens? Farmer: I'm prosecuted. Neglect. Same government. Visitor: They stop the shearer and charge you for the sheep. Farmer: And the lamb from his farm lands at Dover tariff-free under the trade deal. The New Zealand sheep's welcome. The New Zealand man who'd save mine from the maggots isn't. Visitor: Who signed that? Farmer: The same hand that'll sign my summons.

The government is funding a purchase of a country estate by an organisation with no experience of running such a large complex estate and no one has asked the question of where the working capital will come from. Sheer negligence.
The government is funding one of England's biggest land purchases for nature. Ā£1.94 million to secure the future of The Rothbury Estate in Northumberland. @WildlifeTrusts will manage the estate for nature recovery. Learn more: wildlifetrusts.org/news/uk-g…

Are you taking the absolute piss? You minced around with @agricontract and have delivered nothing. Your own government thinks as little of you as it does this country's farming industry. Pathetic.
This Budget includes a strong package for the countryside, food security and economic growth: We're cutting fertiliser and food costs, making it cheaper to clear illegal waste sites, extending red diesel relief and reviewing tax relief for agricultural infrastructure

To the uninitiated, this man was Minister of Climate, energy and utilities in Denmark from 2019 - 2022 where he did everything he could possibly do to put us in this situation, including halting all existing oil and gas exploration, as well as cancelling all future licensing rounds for oil and gas exploration in th North Sea. It's hard to find a worse person to navigate us through this winter.
Europe faces a difficult winter. We must ensure reliable fuel supplies for our citizens, businesses, & defense. And we must ensure that these supplies are affordable. Today we started our dialogue with European refineries. Looking at short-term & long-term. Press point ↓

I want the world to look at us and learn a lesson to never ever end up being at the mercy of the weather because of the ideology of a bunch of people with annual salaries between 300-500K and zero skin in the game, while 450 million are facing the consequences of their mistakes.

Local piemaker explains how Burnham's first Budget will make things much worse: "I don’t qualify for the business rates relief because I’m multi-site… I’ve got two shops, so I don’t qualify. The minimum wage has increased. I’m not saying we shouldn’t pay staff. I’m saying we can’t afford to pay them… All my staff have been with us for years. So I’m going to have approximately a Ā£700 a week increase. My suppliers are having an increase too. My supply bills are around Ā£20,000 to Ā£30,000 a week. That’ll go up 10%, so Ā£2,000 to Ā£3,000 a week. So that’s Ā£4,000 a week I’ve got to find… That’s about 20,000 to 30,000 pies a week. So my costs have gone up. I’ve got no business rates relief. The National Insurance is crippling me. The energy crisis is crippling me. I’m going to have to put my prices up, Customers are going to get mad. I’m going to get less profit. As a family, as a director, I’ve got to take a 2% cut. So my family, my one-year-old girl. I’m taking a pay cut. The business is taking a pay cut. How is that breathing room for me? Where’s my breathing space? John Healey, if you’re listening, where’s my breathing space? You promised me. You promised the UK breathing space. Where is it?"

These people don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. If someone works 40 hours at minimum wage the extra pay a year is Ā£1,019 p.a. Then there’s the extra holiday entitlement circa 12% of that figure Ā£122 p.a. Then there’s the extra Employer’s NI of 15% on the total worked and holiday entitlement circa Ā£171 p.a. Then the extra minimum Employer pension contribution at 3% circa Ā£34 p.a. In total that’s circa Ā£1,346 p.a EXTRA per member of staff. It will lead to job losses, reduced hours or business closures. Imagine running a restaurant and you’ve got 7 staff. That’s an extra Ā£9,400 p.a. You need to find. Where does it come from?
Its a FORTY NINE PENCE an hour increase ffs šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Recently I was talking with a friend about universal geniuses. And something struck me. Florence, 1480–1510. Same city, same moment: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Botticelli, Pico della Mirandola. Raphael right behind them. They walked the same streets. Europe, 1600–1700. Galileo, Kepler, Descartes, Pascal, Huygens, Newton, Leibniz. In two generations, we got calculus, modern mechanics, probability theory, and the scientific method. Athens, 470–320 BC. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Sophocles, Phidias, Thucydides. One century, one city, and the foundations of Western thought were laid. Europe, 1890–1930. PoincarĆ©, Hilbert, Einstein, Marie Curie, Tesla, Planck, Bohr, then von Neumann. Always the same pattern. In every great era, the West had 15 to 20 minds of this caliber alive at the same time. People who could touch everything and push the frontier of several fields at once. Today we have one. Just one. Elon Musk. And Elon is an anomaly. Not in the sense that he shouldn't exist. In the sense that the world we built is designed so that someone like him never emerges. Statistically, he shouldn't be here. Because what forged Elon was an absolutely insane move. October 2002. eBay buys PayPal. Elon walks away with roughly $180M. Anyone else buys an island and never works another day. He puts $100M into SpaceX, $70M into Tesla, $10M into SolarCity. Almost everything. On rockets and electric cars, two industries no sane person wanted to touch. 2006–2008. The first three Falcon 1 launches fail. Tesla is burning cash, the financial crisis hits, investors run. He has enough left for one last launch. Just one. He borrows money from friends to pay his rent. September 28, 2008. The fourth launch reaches orbit. December 23, 2008. NASA awards SpaceX a $1.6B contract. December 24, 2008. The Tesla round closes at the last possible hour. A few more days and everything collapses. That's what a genius is. Not just IQ. The ability to put everything on the table when the entire world tells you it's impossible, and be right. Now the real question: why do we only have one? Because a genius needs three things. The freedom to try. The right to get massively rich if it works. The right to fail without being destroyed. And that's exactly what the collectivist left and the technocrats have torn down across the West for the past 50 years. They turned success into suspicion. Making a lot of money became a moral failing. Taking risks became irresponsible. Rising above the crowd became an insult to equality. They stacked up norms, committees, permits, regulations written in Brussels by people who have never built anything in their lives. In Europe, Elon would never have been allowed to blow up three rockets. He'd have been stopped at the first form. They want to tax capital before it even exists, cap fortunes, redistribute what others created by risking everything. They replaced excellence with conformity. Our schools produce docile people, not dangerous ones. And a genius, by definition, is someone who disrupts. Their entire system is built to neutralize the people who disrupt. The result: where we should have 15 to 20 universal geniuses alive at the same time, we have one. Just one. And you want to put him in prison. You summon him before judges, you raid his offices, you insult him morning, noon and night, you dream of breaking up his companies. The man who lands rockets vertically and wants to take humanity to Mars. You're disgusting. History won't remember your names. It remembers Galileo, not the inquisitors who tried to silence him.
