All 16,777,216 possible RGB colours in one image, each exactly once (modulo Twitter compression). Arranged by threading a Hilbert curve through the 256³ colour cube and unrolling it along a Hilbert curve filling the square. so nearby colours stay close.

Absolutely! You’ll find many biopics about mathematicians to stream at zalafilms.com … Erdos, Zhang, Mirzakhani, Chern, Halmos, Robinson, Hilbert, Graham, Granville, Newell and many more.
We need more movies about mathematicians. We've already got good ones about Turing, Ramanujan, Johnson, and Nash. Which others? Noether? Hilbert? Grothendieck? Erdős? Wiles? Kolmogorov? Galois? Mirzakhani? ...

This is really fantastic news, the new @QuantaMagazine Books will publish a popular book by Tao, great job @7homaslin at making this happen! simonsfoundation.org/2025/12… I've long been jealous of physicists: so many Nobel-laureate physicists have published books for popular readers; math is *way* behind in this respect, with very few top mathematicians willing to communicate with general audiences (you hear things like “eh, they’ll never understand anything anyway, why should I waste my time; let second-rate researchers do this work”). Hopefully Terry’s book will be a harbinger of more things to come!
