The DSA stands for a world where everyone thrives, not just the few. Our fight for democratic socialism is inseparable from the struggle for racial justice and ending the legacy of white supremacy.
True justice requires reparations for slavery to address the systemic wealth gap and state-sanctioned oppression of Black communities. We demand economic redistribution and structural change to build a future rooted in equity.
Join the movement for a just world.

Everyone needs to recognize how coordinated this is. Two days ago, CNN publishes an article of Haley Stevens bashing Abdul El-Sayed, then her fiancé endorses Mike Rogers and then she goes on CNN to trash AES some more. Now this...
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has.
On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit.
The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. Full statement here:

Dems using these final days to tie El-Sayed to an unaffiliated digital ad, call him antisemitic, claim he has a black voter issue (Pelosi, Stevens, Booker, etc), believe he'll win, but want to cut into his margin to make the case that criticizing Israel is a liability. Psychotic.

As a member of the Black delegation, this white woman does not speak for me.

Former Republican Congressman 👇🏽
Mike Rogers is one of the chief architects of the modern surveillance state and a champion of the forever war.
Privacy and war are two of the very few issues on which a member of Congress can make a difference with a marginal, decisive vote.
Michigan, let’s make sure Rogers gets nowhere near the U.S. Senate.

I don’t say this often but: thank you @CoryBooker
What's being aimed at Abdul El-Sayed by Trump is not a policy disagreement. It is the President calling a Michigan-born doctor a "jihadist" and saying he'd need a metal detector to enter the Senate. It is a sitting senator mocking him with a nickname about his faith. It is crowds shouting "traitor" at the sound of his name, and a flood of online smears about his religion, his family, and his community.
Let’s call this what it is: Islamophobia.
I've always said: before you tell me about your religion, show it to me in how you treat other people. By that measure, the people attacking Abdul's faith are failing their own.
Hate aimed at a Muslim is poisonous, just as is hate aimed at a Jew, a Christian, a Sikh, or anyone else. It is beneath the presidency, beneath the Senate, and beneath who we are as Americans.
Debate ideas. But we have to reject the politics of hate, and we have to do it out loud.

Noticed ever since Hasan filed that lawsuit that no news anchors seem to be running their mouth about him. Interesting.

The choice in Michigan’s U.S. Senate race is clear.
Vote Abdul El-Sayed.

ALT The image is a split graphic comparing Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers. On the left, Abdul El-Sayed is associated with rebuilding Detroit's Health Department after bankruptcy, eliminating medical debt for 300,000 people, guaranteeing healthcare, lowering prescription drug costs, and supporting family farms. On the right, Mike Rogers is noted for receiving more than $5 million from corporations, voting to cut healthcare, supporting war in Iran, pocketing money from pharmaceutical companies, and having a top financial advisor connected to child sexual assault.
