20 years ago, Tom Cruise was mocked for criticizing psychiatric drugs. Looking back as a psychiatrist, he got a lot right.
In 2005 he said there's no such thing as a chemical imbalance. At the time, doctors were telling the public depression was caused by low serotonin.
A big 2022 review by Joanna Moncrieff and her team looked at all the data and couldn't find it. There was never proof.
He also went after ADHD meds. Here's what we know now.
→ They don't improve academic performance, short term or long term. Kids on stimulants just think they did better.
→ In the MTA trial, the largest and longest NIMH study ever done, there was no difference in behavior at 3 years.
→ Kids on stimulants ended up about an inch shorter on average.
Where I'd push back: he was a bit too harsh. In severe cases, these drugs can help short term. But they mask symptoms, they don't fix an underlying problem, and tolerance builds.
Used long term, I see people get more tired, get cognitive problems, and slide into prescribing cascades: Prozac, then irritability, then a bipolar label, then an ADHD label.
Changing your mood chemically is a big deal. It shouldn't be diminished.

Of the 661 trials cited to prove childhood vax were tested against inert placebos, a detailed breakdown reveals a staggering truth: the number that actually used a true inert placebo to license a routine vax for healthy children is ZERO‼️
This is the powerful fact-check delivered by Aaron Siri in response to Dr. Jake Scott’s claim. Siri meticulously dismantles the 661 figure layer by layer:
- 567 trials were for non-routine vax (e.g., cholera, typhoid) irrelevant to the CDC schedule‼️
- Of the remaining 94, 70 did not involve healthy children‼️
- Of the remaining 24, 21 did not involve a U.S. licensed vax‼️
- This leaves only 3 studies claimed to have an inert control‼️
But the analysis goes deeper. These final three studies completely unravel the argument:
1. Varicella (Chickenpox) Trial: The "inert" control was an injection of neomycin, an antibiotic. This is not physiologically inert.

From Facebook: Davidson County Criminal Court Judge Cindy Chappell (D) sentenced Honduran illegal alien Aldo David Herrera-Andino to just five years of probation after he pleaded guilty to shooting a Tennessee man in the face.
Herrera-Andino, released into the U.S. under Biden-era policies, admitted to firing the handgun during an altercation in Nashville. He left the victim fighting for his life and fled the scene. The charge was felony reckless aggravated assault.
Judge Chappell, a Democrat elected in 2022 who previously worked in criminal defense, imposed the probation sentence and released him. ICE has since taken him into custody pending deportation proceedings.
This is the same pattern of soft-on-crime sentencing that keeps violent offenders on the street. A man shot in the face received no prison time from this judge. 😡

James O’Keefe and Cam Higby have been charged in Minnesota with felony identity theft and unlawful voting for an undercover test of the state’s vouching rules during the August 2026 primary.
Disguised in Muslim attire with hidden cameras, they visited multiple Minneapolis polling places, used real registered voters’ names without permission, asked about the process, and stopped short of signing oaths or casting ballots.
The goal was to show how easily the system can be exploited. Yet non-citizens on the rolls continue to face far less aggressive enforcement.
The people testing the rules get charged. The vulnerabilities they highlight largely do not.
