James Madison understood something we too often forget: The greatest threat to individual rights doesn’t always come from government. It can also come from a majority of our fellow citizens. In Federalist No. 10, Madison warned that a majority could unite around a common interest at the expense of the rights of others. Our constitutional republic was designed to protect individual liberty, not simply to facilitate majority rule. The rights of the individual should not depend solely on the will of the majority. That’s why we have a republic, not an unlimited democracy.

Conservatives should work to be “moderators” on places like Nextdoor. They are bastions for white women forcing their political beliefs on communities.
I’m a moderator on NextDoor for 128 neighborhoods in N Austin TX and surrounding areas. I have 97 reported issues this morning and the majority are the parents of kids who stole candy, damages property, urinated on front porch & chairs - this was my lovely experience) and more. All parents wanted their kids videos taken down because it violated their rights. My response to the parents : “nope keeping these up may force you to parent your kids so in ten years you aren’t visiting them in prison!”

Every time you vote Republican down ballot you cancel out the vote of a Democrat like this. VOTE RED!

This takes courage. Thank you Haley Stevens for standing up to antisemitism, hatred, and the terrorist organization Muslim brotherhood.
I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.

Vote YES on Amendment B!
Utah has a multi-million-dollar multimedia campaign going on to defeat proposed Constitutional Amendment B. The TV ads are running in expensive primetime slots, in social media and on radio. Someone is spending millions to stop the amendment. Doesn't it make you wonder who is paying, and why they would spend all that money just to lie? Amendment B is very simple. Most citizen initiatives will continue to be passed by the traditional 50% plus one, same as always. However, any initiative that seeks to raise taxes has to pass by a super-majority of 60%, rather than the normal 50. But Dark Money, Inc. leaves out the part about tax hikes. Oops. Personally, I will be voting yes on Amendment B. Why? Because I want new or higher taxes to be weighed carefully by Utah's elected legislators. I want tax hikes vetted in committee, with testimony for and against. More than that, I want elected legislators to be accountable to their voters and justify why they raised taxes. The past few years have proven that, because of simple math, an initiative that passes in Utah's most liberal county, Salt Lake, is almost sure to pass statewide. I do not want Salt Lake County calling the shots, especially not on my future taxes. So, I had to speak up. I want all Utah voters to be aware of two very important facts about the elaborate deception campaign to stop Amendment B. First, the secretive groups that are funding the campaign to defeat Amendment B are not from Utah. No one knows who they really are. This is pure "dark money" campaign funding, which the left constantly screams about until they are the ones doing it. Second, their entire campaign is built on lies. They are lying to you and they know they are lying to you. They're spending millions of dollars on television ads to do it. They know the ads will leave you believing that all future initiatives will have to be passed by 60% of the voters. That is a lie and they know it. State leaders are not trying to take power away from you and me, they are taking power away from Salt Lake County to raise taxes on 28 other counties. So, if you have not voted yet, ask yourself whether you want Utah's future to be determined by liberal outside billionaires shoveling dark money into secretive organizations who lie to the people of Utah in order to fool us into voting their way. Ask yourself whether you really want Salt Lake County in charge of your taxes. These are basically the same dark money groups that convinced Utah voters to pass Medicaid expansion, promising that it would save the state money and that a small tax increase included in the initiative would fully cover the costs. That was also a knowing lie. A few years later, we are facing hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicaid shortfalls over the next few years. We now face choices as to what we should cut to cover that shortfall. Do the Salt Lake voters who approved Medicaid expansion want us to cut roads? Do they want us to cut law enforcement? Education? Either we cut or, you guessed it, we raise taxes. Dark money groups also passed the so-called "Better Boundaries" initiative, later exploited by liberal activist judges - as planned from the start – to give Utah the most ridiculously gerrymandered Democrat congressional district anywhere in the country. It's late in the game and the other side has owned the airwaves. The referendum fight had the Republican party stretched thin, but at least a few elected leaders have stepped up. I'm grateful to the ones who have. But way too many conservative officials have sat this one out while millions in dark money flooded the TV. When someone's lying to Utah voters, our leaders should be the first ones speaking out, not the last Hopefully a few folks will read this before they vote. Then you can at least decide knowing the facts. If you're OK with outside billionaires determining your future by lying to the people using multimillion dollar TV campaigns, go ahead and vote against Amendment B

I voted the ticket Republican because an LGBTQP extremist shot and killed Charlie Kirk and Charlie would have wanted us to vote RED Millions of Democrats celebrated his death like this woman below. They are evil.
Denaturalize and deport.

Let’s be clear: if you are opposed to Amendment B you are aligning with antifa and extremist leftwing Democrats. The merits of your argument may be legit. But you are siding with communist freaks hell bent on destroying Utah.
Replying to @oftenmoreso
Actual conservatives understand what is happening. They are voting to preserve citizen’s rights & push back on the Republican Party power grab.

We need to ditch @gopTODD as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee so the senate can catch up to the common sense reforms the Utah house is pushing @SpencerJCox @SpencerJCox
Right near 5600 West and 3100 South. Gang violence in our schools and streets, street racing every night, shootings and open air drug markets. We have serious issues in our area with public safety. Our police do an excellent job, however the courts, jails, pre-trial services and our county DA have serious problems with accountability for our repeat offenders. Most of our cops complain that they arrest someone for the tenth time and they are back on the streets before they can fill out the paperwork. This shooting suspect has been arrested a dozen times, including a few months ago for a third degree felony, was already on probation and was eligible to be held without bail- but the court didn’t even consider it. He posted bail several times and skipped out. He was a “high risk repeat offender”. He posted a $1k bail and a few months later shot a man in front of his kids. Nearly half of all crime in our county is committed by the same small group of repeat offenders that our system refuses to hold accountable, and our communities pay the price. I’ve been working on real pre trial release, bail and repeat offender reforms for more than a year now. If you want safer streets, turn in your ballot and vote and let’s fix this. While you are at it, get rid of Sim Gill and end this constant cycling of repeat offenders through our criminal justice system without end. Vote for @DavisforDA for County DA. kutv.com/news/local/father-s…

Very few citizen initiatives have a new tax. Interestingly, the recent initiatives with tax increases get a lot of out-of-state support. 🤔 Initiatives WITHOUT a tax increase: - 1952: Repeal lien provisions of public asst. act- Fail 60% - 1958: Permit horse races/gambling- Fail 62% - 1960: Clarification of duties of Deputy Sheriffs- Pass 59% - 1968: Relax Alcohol laws- Fail 65% - 1976: Create 5 year budget ceiling- Fail 78% - 1976: Permit the recall of public officials- Fail 50% - 1976: No adding fluoride without voter approval- Pass 50% - 1980: Limit property taxes to 1% of property value- Fail 55% - 1980: Exempt food from sales tax- Fail 56% - 1984: Make cable porn a crime- Fail 61% - 1988: Create Tax and Spending caps- Fail 61% - 1988: Reduce all taxes- Fail 62% - 1988: Create home school tax credit- Fail 70% - 1990: Exempt food from sales tax- Fail 56% - 1992: All horse race gambling- Fail 60% - 1994: Term limits for elected officials- Fail 65% - 2000: English language mandate- Pass 67% - 2000: Fix civil asset forfeiture- Pass 69% - 2018: Redistricting- Pass 50.1% Initiatives with a tax increase: - 2002: Regulate nuclear energy- Failed 68% - 2004: Bond for conservation projects- Failed 55% - 2018: Medical marijuana- Passed 53% - 2018: Medicaid Expansion- Passed 53%

Utah: Know the lineup on who’s fighting against Amendment B! (Reminder: Utah families will be the ones living with the consequences of the higher taxes from these initiatives.) 🇺🇸 VOTE YES ON AMENDMENT B: •Utah Republican Party •Utah Taxpayers Association •Americans for Prosperity – Utah •Americans for Tax Reform •Eagle Forum PAC 🔵 VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT B: The opposition campaign, Utahns Protecting Our Constitution, is operated by Better Boundaries and led by Elizabeth Rasmussen. Among the organizations backing the NO campaign: •Planned Parenthood •Utah Democratic Party •ACLU of Utah •Alliance for a Better Utah •League of Women Voters of Utah •Mormon Women for Ethical Government Interesting lineup, isn't it? Amendment B doesn't eliminate citizen initiatives. It simply requires a 60% vote for citizen initiatives that raise taxes. So here's the question: Why are so many of these organizations fighting to keep the threshold at 50% + 1? Your gut knows why. Help protect Utah families and taxpayers: Vote YES on B!

Hundreds of illiterate Somalis were guided into the polls in Lewiston over the last two weeks by "translators" who often appeared to be filling out ballots on behalf of voters. The U.S. Attorney for Maine says he's investigating.

Democrats are spending $4 million to defeat Amendment B in Utah because they know it is existential for numerous Democrat priorities. It is disappointing to see many of Utah conservatives openly siding with out-of-state extremists. If you want to help safeguard Utah against Democrat extremism, vote YES on Amendment B!
I’m debating @danmccay on Monday, November 2nd about amendment B, which proposes to amend Utah’s Constitution. He is in favor of the amendment; I’m not. He “challenged” me to debate and I said ok. The debate will be online. More info to follow.

Nothing says 'Utah values' like a DC dark money group writing the biggest check. $1.67M from the Fairness Project. 72% of the No on B money from outside Utah. Think it can't happen here? Ask Colorado. 🧵

Watch below and learn about one of the many ways “refugees” are scamming American taxpayers. Outrageous!
Ram Chhetri came to the US as a refugee, but this might be worst day of his life: It's the moment he realizes the $80k-$160k/year salary he's bilked from Medicaid for no-show work is coming to an end because @realdailywire caught the truth on camera. We conducted months of surveillance that shows why "home care aide" is now the *most common job* in states like NY, CA, MN, and PA: Because a large part of those jobs are unambiguous Medicaid fraud. Thanks to home care, Bhutanese refugees now make more money than actual PA families. The state doesn't just look the other way, but helps them get away with it. Converting federal health dollars into a universal basic income for certain communities relieves the financial burden they place on the state. The scammers easily deceive the feds' woefully broken monitoring system. You'll see Ram pull into a driveway for 2 minutes in the morning, then 2 minutes in the evening. He clocks in and out of his shift from the right place, and the GPS system doesn't notice that he goes home in between. $20 an hour doesn't sound like much, but at 77 hours a week, it's $80k–and it's easy to bill huge hours when you don't actually have to work them. And that's just for the low-level guys in this scheme.

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will: 1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate. 2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority. 3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority. This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word. All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

If the Utah GOP was serious, we would see a full court press for relevant legislation and ballot measures. Drive public opinion. Help form voter opinion. Do NOT leave it up to leftwing extremists and millions in out-of-state funding to form voter opinion.
It is almost like the Utah GOP is clueless as to how public opinion is formed.😡 The Utah Legislature puts something they think is important on the ballot and think their work is done. No support, no ads, no marketing. No real explanation of why this, why now? Conversely Democrats do their coordinated full court press against. Millions of dollars spent on propaganda against “um, corruption” and “power grab” and whatever. Wow, advertising works. Worse is Republicans fund extra propaganda against them with our tax dollars. KUER is the Democrats Communications Network. They air Democrats for hours on end to smear Republicans and campaign against things like Amendment B. Hey @utahhousereps @utahsenate @UtahGOP how about you stop funding Democrats and put your own oars in the water? Public opinion is made, it isn’t just is.
