Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Emma Reynolds says "employers are not working people". These vile Labour MPs have absolutely NO idea about what it takes to run a business and they hate anyone who works *extremely* hard to run one. I despise them.

Labour is planning another major assault on family businesses by charging them 45% income tax when passing shares to children. KPMG said it had “significant concerns” that the plans risked “discouraging intergenerational transfers of ownership”. John Endacott, a partner at chartered accountants PKF Francis Clark, warned that “long-standing family companies are still adjusting to the inheritance tax changes. Further taxes on passing businesses to the next generation risk taxing them to extinction.” Let's remember that there are some 5.1m family firms across the UK constituting 93.2% of all private sector businesses. They support 15.8m jobs, 57% of total private sector employment. They generate £2.8 trillion in annual turnover, representing nearly half of the UK private sector total and contribute £985 billion in Gross Value Added GVA (equivalent to roughly 59% of private sector GVA). They pay in £422 billion in total taxes to the Exchequer. The more they have to pay in tax in order to transfer ownership to the next generation, the less money there is for investment and expansion. Along with the imposition of the death tax on family firms, this policy is a dagger to the heart of British business. Why is Labour doing it...........? 1/2

Trump: Makes a diesel deal with Putin to bring down prices for Americans. Europe: “Making deals with dictator Putin is a road to hell! Shameful! Absolutely disgraceful!” Also Europe: Buys even more Russian gas to keep its own citizens supplied. Europe, in actual numbers: €7.88 BILLION spent on Russian Arctic LNG in the first nine months of 2026 — 9.5% MORE than the year before. The biggest buyers? France, the Netherlands, and Portugal. Apparently, buying energy from Putin is financing a bloody dictatorship — unless you pay in euros. Same dictator. Same gas money. Different moral standards. Welcome to Europe, where hypocrisy is renewable, but the gas is Russian.

This is very true. If Rupert Lowe gets 3-5% in a General Election (current poll level). It will likely hand Labour a majority. Lowe will have gotten his revenge. But we and all our future generations will suffer because of one man’s ego.
Replying to @RupertLowe10
@RupertLowe10 I used to have such high regard for Rupert but now He just saddens me 😢 I like millions of parents and Grandparents Fear my family will inherit a dangerous dump. You may well get your revenge Rupert but it’s our future generations who will suffer 😢

Angela Rayner’s new policy on ‘Empty Dwelling Management Orders’ is one of the most outrageous, authoritarian overreaches by a British government ever. It gives the state the power to confiscate private property if left unoccupied for six months. It is literally legalised theft and yet the left-wing media luvvies lapped up her party conference speech and let it slip by without so much as a whimper of protest. When people realise how pernicious Rayner’s ‘Empty Dwelling Management Orders’ are, the inevitable outcry will be too late. First and foremost, it will be the state that decides if your house is ripe for confiscation. The local council will deploy ‘Empty Homes Officers’, for which there is about to be a recruitment drive, who will spy on your property. These state snoops will visit your property, check your mail, take photos of your house and obtain your water and energy usage.  Armed with this information, like some second-rate private investigator, build a case on whether you’ve been living there.   Then when the state seizes your property and rents it out, who gets the payments? You guessed it, it goes directly to the local council. And they get to decide if they want to use the rent for repairs, building works and any health-and-safety upgrades to make the house habitable. They will then take out any money needed to cover the council's letting agent fees and property management costs. Only then, if there is anything left, will the actual owner get something.   The state will be able to confiscate your property for seven years.    Of course, the property owner will still be responsible for paying the mortgage if there is one - even if they are getting no income. The council, despite taking the rent, won’t cover the mortgage payments.  But should this lead to a default, the bank can repossess the property, so the owner will potentially lose everything. That isn’t the end of the scandal, because should the tenant, which the council found, stop paying rent, the council can’t evict them as they have full legal tenancy rights. Leaving the property owner with even fewer rights than the non-rent paying tenant.    People have complicated lives which means they may end up with an empty property - for example if an elderly parent dies, a messy divorce or a house you hoped you could one day do up.   Housing Secretary, Angela Rayner, too has a complicated housing arrangement. She divides her time across three accommodations - her Westminster one, her constituency home in Ashton-under-Lyne, and her new controversial Hove apartment (the one she didn’t pay full stamp duty on over which she had to resign).   No doubt the state won’t be looking to seize her private property.  In this Socialist nightmare we are living through, some are always more equal than others.

I've just received a council tax bill for the house my Son lived in at the time of his death. I told the council that he'd died in May of last year. They've sent a bill to me 17 months later. I've suggested they give him a visit.

SIX MONTHS? YOU CAN SPEND THAT LONG WAITING FOR A PLUMBER IN BRITAIN. Yet councils could be given greater powers over homes left empty for six months. Empty is NOT the same as abandoned. Probate. Renovations. A sale dragging on. Life happens. When did six months become long enough for the council to start managing someone else’s home?

NEW: Yorkshire Police officers attended training sessions that compared the views Nigel Farage and I hold towards Islamists to a racially aggravated CRIME. They took issue with my description of the “hate marches” and the fact research found 46% of British Muslims supported Hamas. I’m not surprised, to be honest. The police have been infiltrated by bad-faith actors seeking to police speech, not actual crime. Last week it was even revealed the National Association of Muslim Police had published papers defending Hamas and describing terms such as “Islamist” as Islamophobic. Why do we even have a “National Association of Muslim Police”? This sectarianism is utterly corrosive to our society and policing. The many brave and decent police officers who serve our communities day in and day out and want nothing to do with this nonsense are being let down. The police should be united and apply the law equally. It’s clearer than ever that our country is in a deep mess. Only Reform has the courage to fix it.

The farmer who called in the RAF Fairford incident has spoken. And she's not having Wes Streeting's spin. There were "definitely more than five," she says. Eight to ten. Faces covered. All dressed the same, "almost you'd have thought perhaps it was what they'd been told to wear." Five were arrested. All five are now out on bail. Streeting went on the telly to say she only had a "partial picture." Her reply? Nobody in any official capacity has even been in touch with her. So: a declared major incident. The one witness from that night says more men were there than were ever arrested. Not one official has picked up the phone to her. But the Defence Secretary found time to go on the BBC and mark down her account. Something doesn't add up. 🤔

🚨WATCH: Angela Rayner is asked why the Government can house 90,000 illegal migrants but not homeless people across the country. She blames the housing supply crisis. Funny how that supply crisis doesn’t seem to apply when it comes to housing illegals...

Dear CPS, Please confirm if you have charged the 80,000 + illegals who have invaded our country since the general election? Please confirm why it is a crime to try to stop such illegality by doing the job the police & Border Force should be doing? Please confirm why you think this is in the public interest. Millions will think the opposite, that you are bringing our justice system into disrepute and destroying people’s confidence in it. Weird how you took many months to charge the Manchester Airport thugs for assault against police officers. (Only after I started a private criminal prosecution) Yet you rush this through in days? Seriously?

Lidl has started adding PEA PROTEIN to beef mince… and calling it “High Protein Beef Mince.” No, seriously. Apparently beef wasn’t protein enough. This new range landed in Lidl stores across Britain on 18 September. It mixes British meat with plant based pea protein, and Lidl says the products contain at least 20% more protein than their traditional versions. Lidl has committed to increasing plant based protein to 25% of the protein it sells by 2030. And Lidl itself says this new hybrid meat range helps bring its “Planetary Health Diet commitments” onto supermarket shelves. So we’re taking beef, one of the most naturally protein rich foods humans eat, mixing pea protein into it, then putting a massive HIGH PROTEIN label on the front as though we’ve somehow improved meat. That’s quite a marketing trick. If I pick up a packet labelled BEEF MINCE, I want beef mince. Not beef mince quietly helping a supermarket hit its plant protein targets. How long before finding a packet containing just beef becomes the premium option?

UK Govt is spinning that new Chancellor, John Healey is surprised by the state of the public accounts. No, that’s not acceptable. He was in Cabinet for 2 years. That’s like being a company director of UK Govt. A Board Director does not get to claim ignorance on the accounts. It’s not just all on the Finance Director. If he is saying he is surprised, he is saying he has been negligent for two years.

You already pay a tax every time you stay in a caravan, a holiday cottage, a hotel - it is 20% VAT. Now you would have an additional levy on top - probably 5% - and VAT on top of that. A triple whammy of tax
