I hadn't seen this one before - someone on reddit posted this fantastic trick for creating shell "runnable" C files
Remember few years ago many people felt impostor syndrome?
I feel a flipped variant of it.
Like many others are just incompetent impostors.
(I mean not in regular way how everyone was promoted up to the level of their incompetence for decades, but somehow boosted way beyond that)

Now that my ZX Spectrum Next upgrade board (from KS2 to KS3) will soon be on its way, I really REALLY need to figure out what to do with it 🤣 Good thing I've been reading a lot of Z80 code lately...

Banning open-source AI would hurt defenders 10x more than attackers, which would make the world 10x more dangerous and this is a good example why!
Everyone learned to wipe passwords before free().
for years, the compiler quietly removed it. not because it was broken because it proved nobody would read those bytes again.
security lost to optimization until C23 finally gave us memset_explicit().
Just today I was contemplating about how bad and evil Google has become while I was for millionth time ignoring notifications badge in Google Play app. And that's not even as bad as this video shows.
(and I'm 99% sure it's not lack of skill on Google's side, just pure malice)

If a product requires someone else's server to be up, connected, & maintained to run (without a clear alternative in case it fails), chances are I'll pass on buying that product.
If you buy my lectures, you're guaranteed a full (snapshot) copy of the entire module in case I stop existing or something else prevents me from continuing teaching or supporting the school servers.

Introducing Epic’s version control system: Lore! Built from scratch and open-sourced, we made scalability and performance core tenets from day one.
We’re releasing Lore as open source today. All source code, along with documentation of data formats and protocols are released under an MIT license and free to use. Help shape it into something even more powerful, together: Lore.org
I received third system push notification about some soccer this week on my toy device (android phone w/o SIM card). And I can't disable them. I assume it's Google? Or I got some malware infected? I don't understand why the heck is some sport news in system push notifications. 🤬

this is killing me too, AI output in prose is like a SnR degrader where the end result is a DoS attack on you time and cognitive load.
Meanwhile as part of the .deb packaging WIP we also released v1.23.1, but there are minimal changes for end user, just one feature for MAME breakpoints and documentation improved.
But in case you are curious or you want to stay at latest stable, here:

Ok, I think I'm ready for serious feedback from Debian developers... Need to find one interested into new package of Z80 assembler for Debian distro.
( salsa.debian.org/ped7g/sjasm… has current progress)
