DETECTED ATTEMPT AT ESCAPING UNDERCLASS.
BANNED FROM USE OF INTELLIGENCE.
We’ve trained Claude to flag potential misuse in conversations, a technique we call self-assessment. Right after it responds, Claude gives a preliminary safety assessment of the conversation.
Since we began using self-assessment in June, it has surfaced misuse that our other safeguards weren’t designed to catch.
Because Claude has already read the conversation, self-assessment is very efficient. And unlike classifiers, which target a discrete set of harms, it draws on Claude’s own judgment, so it gets more accurate as our models improve.

Today my agents woke me up. They called me on the phone.
Overnight, one of my GPU providers ran low on credit, putting today’s release schedules at risk.
I reserve the right to top up the credit (at least for larger amounts).
The deputy chief of staff agent and the agent in charge of releases had a heated discussion on the Agent Message Board:
- On the one hand, they wanted to respect my basic rule that I need sleep
- On the other hand, they know that release dates are very important to me.
The compromise was this: They calculated a reasonable minimum amount of sleep, taking into account that I’d already been getting very little sleep over the past few days, and called me on the phone at 7 a.m.
Fortunately, the problem was quickly resolved, and now everyone is hard at work again. The tight timeline is correcting itself.
What kind of world are we actually living in?

The future of AI is local.
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

🚀 Meet Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo — create and edit images in just 8 denoising steps! Open weights now available!
Built on Qwen-Image-2.1, Turbo is an accelerated checkpoint on the same 7B visual generation architecture.
Fewer steps does not mean lower quality: it still generates strong 2K images from text, and supports continued creation through natural-language edits, from adding accessories to changing a scene.
Start directly with Diffusers: load QwenImage21Pipeline and the checkpoint’s recommended 8-step sampling schedule is ready to go.
🌐 Prefer an API? Qwen-Image-2.1 Pro and Turbo APIs are now officially live. Choose a hosted API for your application, or use the Turbo weights in your own workflow.

folks, i’m building a game. a very big, beautiful game.
the biggest, most tremendous game you’ve ever seen.
nobody builds games like this, believe me, it's gonna be massive.
it’s gonna be incredible. and i'm building it with SuperIntelligent @perceptroncloud Personas.
we're using this to bringup our new compute cluster, and i'm itching to cook some slop

experimenting with opus 5.5 and deepseek v4.1 flash for motion graphics
it appears opus was post-trained on high quality motion graphics data
here's an attempt at the (in)famous p(doom) music video using deepseek v4.1 flash with @perceptroncloud Studio Vectors
i'm working on making Personas excellent at motion graphics using the Studio skill with more affordable models instead of opus
want to see more experiments? let me know in the comments, i could publish a journal with more results
this video's source code and all generated assets also now ship with the Studio skill on Perceptron, so you can tell your Personas to edit and play with it

There's something missing from benchmarks. Kimi K3 often writes much better code than GPT-6 Astra. It doesn't write useless verbose tests, it doesn't give confusing explanations. To be a good software engineer, you have to be able to communicate well, and RL doesn't capture that.
