Luka Doncic scored 23 PTS in the first half but Yaxel Lendeborg was the only Warrior to slow him down 😤 According to ESPN's tracking, Doncic scored 2 points on 0-of-4 FG with Lendeborg as his primary defender in the halfcourt in the first half.

I like how everything the man does is summarized as just “work” while the mom gets multiple blocks for things like “family,” “mental load,” and “everything else.”

When a Protestant dies, Catholics pray for the repose of his soul. When a Catholic priest dies tragically, Protestants like this celebrate it as divine punishment, declare that God killed him for “idolatry,” call him a false prophet, and exploit his death to attack the Catholic Church. In Catholicism, we pray for the dead, even those who opposed the Church. In Protestantism, teachers like this rejoice in the death of their theological enemies. This is a stark difference, and it reveals something about the spirit behind each.

Regular season implications gone. Losing doesn’t matter. Endless transferring. Minimal loyalty to schools. Everything about money. Conference regionality gone. Rankings rigged for two conferences (primarily one). Every year College Football gets worse and worse. Very sad.

We were a happier country when people could smoke in restaurants and get drunk at office Christmas parties.

One of the most serious arguments against capital punishment in our time is not first about the criminal, nor even about the victim and those who love them. It is about what the public hunger for death is doing to your own soul. Social media has made this painfully visible. Religious influencers and political personalities speak of executions with excitement, contempt, and sometimes what looks very much like pleasure. They call for death as though it were entertainment, a victory, or proof that they are serious about justice. Then others repeat it, celebrate it, and demand more. That is spiritually dangerous ground. A Christian may discuss punishment, public safety, justice, and the grave duties of the state. Those are serious matters. But the moment we begin to enjoy the thought of someone being put to death, to speak as though we are eager to watch it happen, or to make another human being’s destruction into a spectacle, something has gone badly wrong in us. The culture of death is not only found in those who refuse to protect innocent life. It is also found wherever death becomes easy to desire, easy to praise, and easy to demand for those we have decided are beyond mercy. Scripture warns us plainly: “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer.” 1 John 3:15 God is perfectly just. He judges evil more truly than any of us can. But you and I are not permitted to train our hearts to delight in the death of the wicked. If we cannot speak of even a guilty man’s punishment with sobriety, sorrow, and fear of God, then capital punishment is not the urgent danger before us. The danger is what we are becoming.

It's true that the Church has endorsed public executions in the past. But that doesn't mean every public execution at every time and place is justified and moral. There's a huge difference between a deeply Christian country in the 14th century, for example, executing someone at the town square in front of a few dozen people, and a pagan country like ours live-streaming an execution to the world. Even when the state executes someone, it should include a desire for the criminal's repentance. Degrading it to a Coliseum-style show is no different than pagan Rome.

Every day, our culture hurdles gleefully to the brink of destruction. At some point, a majority of Americans picked a political party and that party told you to be afraid: if you don’t vote for them, the other party will win and ruin everything. And so, we cheered our party on. We ignored their moral depravity because they convinced us the moral depravity of the other guy is and will be worse. Your party made sure you were terrified and angry all the time about the other guy; they did this because frightened and angry people are easily led. We refused to demand better and now the chickens have come home to roost. You should read the headline of this article and be terrified of what’s coming, but you won’t. You’ve been trained to not think too deeply, particularly when it comes to questioning your own party. What is coming is death: The death of our beloved republic, the final death of what tiny, fractured consciences we have left. We pretended we could kill thousands of unborn children every day and not be broken by it. We pretended we could cheer on & justify those who opposed abortion, even if it was clear they were wicked. We pretended we could jump into war after war, breaking generations of men and women and never pay the price for it. The two parties only agree on three things: Debt is good War is perpetual The Jews are the bad guys. No matter who we vote for, we fall deeper into debt, bomb and kill more people in foreign countries and destroy the future for the next generation I beg is all to leave the matrix and embrace Christ. Embrace the dignity of the human person, from conception to natural death Refuse to be scared into voting for demons.

I hate “give it to the kid” culture. We were kids once too. Some of us growing up couldn’t go to games and now that we’re adults, we can. Fuck you and that child. If I caught it, I’m keeping it.

They were surprised to learn that there was no life saving equipment in the… EXECUTION ROOM
There was no medical oxygen or mask in the execution chamber where Tennessee tried and failed to kill convicted murderer Christa Pike, which meant staff had to go and get it when things went wrong, according to a source who witnessed what happened. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/-me…

I don't believe in using debates over the methods of execution as a backdoor way to argue about the death penalty. Do the death penalty right, or don't do it because you're against it. I hate the dishonesty of pretending that's not the argument.

Totally ridiculous. She butchered a girl and kept a piece of her skull as a trophy. Then she tried to murder someone else in prison. Now her execution is halted purely because she’s a woman. That’s the only reason. Female privilege is absolutely out of control in this country.
